Summary
When Bruce dies there’s a lot of pieces to pick up. Dick has to step into the role of Batman, and try to hold his family together. Meanwhile, fresh from the league, and unsure of his place anymore Damian’s not even sure what a real family looks like. Together the two, and the rest of Bruce’s children slowly take steps to learn what healing is. While they do so, a dark new villain is taking steps to make themselves known in Gotham.
Basically, I take Dick and Damian’s time as Batman and Robin and change absolutely everything.

Summary

A year has passed since the Phantom Thieves struck down a god and saved Tokyo from a terrible fate. But when people all over the globe begin to suffer from "Paranoia Syndrome," mysterious seizures which leave them contorted and unconscious, Akira Kurusu finds himself in the Velvet Room once more, demanding answers for the affliction. His investigation leads him to the Dead Sea, the rotted remnants of the cognitive world, where all things go to be forgotten - including someone the Thieves had thought to be long gone.
Meanwhile, Akira's comatose body is found in the waking world, and his terrified friends suspect the worst. Akira's confidants struggle to learn the truth behind Paranoia Syndrome, while he and Goro Akechi approach a fated confrontation in the decaying shell of the cognitive Tokyo. “Oh, but you did.” Goro’s tone was honey coated poison, “I was your trump card, the ace in the hole you could pull out at just the right time to force him to accept your perfect little world.” He gave a derisive snort, “You went so far as to actually kidnap me when I wouldn’t disappear on cue.”
Or
Dr. Maruki shows up to tell Akira about Akechi’s condition much earlier. When both refuse to accept his reality he decides to take more drastic actions to remove Akechi from the equation. For, how could Akira really accept his world if he doesn’t understand what he’ll be giving up?
Surprisingly, no one takes it well.
