Wolfwood looked at Nai, his gaze dragging lower and lower. Nai's skin burned where it traveled, the prince drawing in a shaky gasp when Wolfwood's gaze settled in between his legs. "Maybe you could stand to try offering up something a little more personal."
"I…I'm not…" Nai's voice cracked. "I'm supposed to remain pure for my wedding night!"
"We're married," Wolfwood reminded him, his voice dipping lower. "All that's left is to break open my wife on our wedding bed."
OR
Nai takes Vash's place as an arranged bride to their ally kingdom's general, if only to convince the man to cancel the wedding. After all, it's not like Nai planned to actually marry the man.

Lord in heaven, something must be seriously wrong with Wolfwood. Just why, exactly, is his body reacting like this to the implication that Knives is trying to— to breed Vash?
He's never been happier that Vash doesn't even seem to be aware of his presence. He doesn't know how he would ever live with it— Vash knowing Wolfwood had guided him like a lamb to the slaughter was humiliation enough.
In the end, this is all his fault, isn't it, for delivering Vash safe and sound.Wolfwood watches Knives claim Vash, and hates himself for finding it arousing. Knives makes sure Wolfwood knows who Vash belongs to.

It's been nearly 60 years since their climactic final battle, and Vash thinks its a sign of growth when this year, Knives follows him on the long trek up to the ruins of the old orphanage at Hopeland.It turns out that they both have plenty more to work through, despite having been on the run together for nearly another human life time. Vash wanders the graves of those he's loved, stopping finally at the first one he placed on this plateau with his own bare hands, standing in the shadow of the Punisher.
Knives wonders again, for the last time he can stand-- why couldn't Vash have loved him that much?

“What happened to you?” Vash asks, reaching a hand out towards Nai's neck where the robe didn’t quite cover the marks Nicholas had left, stopping just short of touching him. “What— why do you smell like cigarettes and sweat and…” he trails off, wrinkling his nose, clearly confused by the olfactory signals he’s getting now that he’s up in Nai’s space.
