Summary
To repopulate Scadrial and counter the Lord Ruler's oppressive ideals on race, class, and relationships, Elend and his new Republic must convince the surviving Scadrians that a free-love sexual revolution is the path to a plentiful and progressive future. But old ideas die hard, and radical times call for radical measures. The solution: Free-Love Balls, where all are invited to mix and mingle in a setting free of taboos. Here, even the formerly lowest skaa will have a chance to rub elbows, (and a little more if they're lucky) with the heroes and new leaders of Scadrial. Vin, however, struggles to take her recent sexual liberation and put it on public display. She and Elend might have to raise the sexual stakes if they want to set an example for their new constituents.
For those who just want to get to the smut, that starts in earnest in Chapter 4, though there are little bits of it before.
Chapters 1-3 provide good setups, world building, and slow burn that will hopefully make the later smut that much better. If you've ever read my previous works, I hope you trust and enjoy the build up!

He pushes Kaladin’s long hair back behind his ear. Kaladin sucks in a breath, involuntarily drawing in the stormlight from the spheres by Adolin’s bed, plunging them into darkness but for the faint glow now rising from Kaladin’s skin.
