Ladybug laughed, but this time it wasn't a joyful sound. It was hard and dry, like a month-old jelly doughnut. "Yeah, that about sums up how absurd my life has been recently. I didn't need to be so nasty, but in my defense, I was panicking; they almost found the Miracle Box. Anyway, after you left… after the fight… we all made up and they promised to wait until I was ready to tell them my secret and stop pushing me. But Alya stayed behind after everyone else went home, and I think she was expecting me to tell it to her anyway. I almost did, but I… didn't."

Summary
A rewrite of Miraculous Ladybug (specifically with the miraculouses lore) with endgame Adrino! It mostly builds off the beginning canon and loosely off the later seasons with a lot more consequences than what the show has for when a magical terrorist shows up out of the blue.
In that way, each book is considered like a season with the chapters being the episodes.

It’s difficult to imagine his father and Plagg talking to each other. It always turns into his father berating Plagg for being uncouth and smelling of cheese when he tries to imagine it. Or Plagg driving his father mad in retaliation. Using his powers to destroy important computer wires, or poking holes in his cravats.
But they wouldn’t have had to talk much for his father to transform.
Especially not if Ladybug was there telling them what to do. Everyone listens to her. Even his father.

It's better this way, ordered and managed, there's less stress. More contentment. And it is more essential than ever before since this is for her friends, her family, to take the stress and pain out of their lives.
Adrien's sick now. 14 years after the breaking of the peacock miraculous, Emilie broke. Adrien was supposed to be exempt from it, not for the same thing to begin happening 18 years later. For the doctors to proclaim he's healthy, but like with Emilie, he isn't. And they can't explain it. They can't cure him either.
Yet, if Chat Noir breaks before him, then they can use creation and destruction to restore Adrien and Emilie. Nothing else is acceptable. Gabriel knows it now too. To hold back now is to prolong Adrien's suffering as he degrades. Emilie's suffering as she is held in stasis.
Nathalie studies, she strategizes, and she attacks.

Adrien Agreste is one of Paris' top models at only 15 years old. Though not a lot is known about his life behind the scenes. Adrien is abused verbally and physically by his father. He has also been struggling with trying to fit the mould of society's standards because of his autism. His only escape from the horrible treatment is his hero persona, Chat Noir.
After years of abuse and torture Adrien can't handle his home life any longer he puts a long-term plan in motion. A run-away. The citizens of Paris quickly realised their favourite model, and coincidently the superhero Chat Noir was missing, although Gabriel Agreste refused to bring light to the situation.
