After the craziest week of their lives, Virgil and his friends continue on the journey of relocating the clan and settling down for safety.
Virgil is hard at work being the newest Blood while Patton and Logan realize new powers as witches.Thomas begins to learn more about himself and his place within Rem's plans under the guide of a much older and wiser vampire, Picani. Discovering more about the world that Rem was so afraid of, Virgil and Thomas begin anew. Although, their journey for themselves still seems to be connected to Rem somehow...
Slowly the backstory of the clan begins to unravel and reveal a long cycle of pain that was magnified the moment Rem attempted to stop it.

Virgil thrives in the dark. In fact, he manipulates it. Usually to do whatever Deceit wants him to do, as is their agreement. Roman thrives in light atmospheres. It’s good for his Instagram theme. But when his college roommate comes home after he does, and Roman cleans him up, night after night, Roman might have to use his super strength on whoever’s doing this to Virgil.
