The tale of two scientists. Susbpace and Medkit, two support gears hailing from the Blackrock faction.
Everybody knows how the story goes: Subspace rips Medkit's eye out. Then, Medkit runs away to Lost Temple and is taken under the protection of the church of the True Eye. And he is deemed a traitor by the entirety of Blacrock with a bounty on his head.
...But what if it was different? What if Subspace got his eye injured by Medkit? What if Subspace ran away to Lost Temple and was under the protection of the church of the True Eye instead of Medkit?

Sword learns some INCRIMINATING information about Medkit (now Madkit) and Coil 2.0, therefore they kidnap him, and they are not going to let him go any time soon. Rocket teams up with Biograft to find him, although Biograft was originally looking for the whereabouts of Medkit as a command/task from Subspace. It is very dangerous, and will they be able to save Sword before something bad happens?

This was not how Medkit wanted his afternoon to go. He would’ve been fine with spending the rest of his day like he always did, paperwork with nothing special to it and anticipating any plans for gear modification until it was time to get back home. In fact, he would've been fine with anything else happening other than this string of events that now had him on the road to Playground. He didn’t want to check his phone to see a string of concerning text messages from Boombox, spelling out a horrible idea that couldn't have led to anything good.
or, good things never last long. Boombox and Medkit face their biggest challenge yet, leaving them to overcome it together, or fall together.

Medkit stared up at the judge with a blank expression, hearing the charges against him fall onto his ears. He wasn’t proud of the things he did for the church, the things they made him do, but he supposed he did them anyways, and that adds up.
He probably could have gotten away with it too, if he had just stayed with the church, instead of running away and getting arrested so they wouldn’t find him. Prison was far better than death, at least he’d get to live without being constantly used and made to do the church’s dirty work.
At least he’d get to live.
“...Death by the electric chair.”
