The day of the 80th Annual Hunger Games, Grian is thrown into the arena after an accident caused by the Capitol's severe negligence.
It was not his imminent death that scared him the most, but the thought of his reputation amongst the eyes of the capitol viewers, his parents, and his peers, surely to crumble when he dies a hopeless death.If only he had wings that could fly, as Scar says, maybe he could have had chance to fly to freedom, to hope. Away from the eyes, and it's meaningless gaze.
