Megumi sighs, “It was a long time ago, no use being upset with a man whose face I don’t even remember.” Megumi lowers his voice and tilts his head downwards, intending for the next words to reach his ears only, “I can’t even remember his name.” They both heard him, but Megumi doesn’t need to know that.
“Do you call Gojo dad in private?” Itadori asks to lighten the mood.
Kugisaki slaps him.
Megumi laughs.

Summary
Furniture at least a few decades old sat untouched, left behind by the old tenants who had fled once the first curse moved in. With no luck being sold, the house remained vacant. According to Gojo, there were five cursed spirits dwelling inside the old house, all low-grade and relatively harmless to sorcerers like them.
It was the kind of mission Gojo normally wouldn't have given the time of day, but with Megumi being a fledgling sorcerer, Gojo thought it the perfect mission for Megumi to dip his toes into the dirtier side of things. Much to Megumi's annoyance, Gojo had sent him on ahead, keeping Megumi within sight of his Six Eyes while giving him room to hunt the curses himself. Hands-on training was what he called it.
The way Megumi saw it, Gojo was using him to get out of work.

Five times Gojo used his infinity on Megumi, and the one time Megumi returned the favor.

Summary
The curse user dies quickly but horribly, because even at eight years old and terribly disoriented, Gojo remains in a league all his own. The breath in Megumi’s chest releases in a wheezing gasp. He scans the carnage now surrounding them, splattering across the ground in a bloody, violent display of power, and traces it back to the source.
Gojo slowly retracts his hand and wipes a tiny shimmer of red from beneath his nose. “There. He’s gone now.” Familiar blue eyes snap back up to Megumi, brimming with confusion and thinly veiled distrust. “Who are you? ‘Cause if you’re here to kill me, I’ll do the same thing to you.”
OR: A cursed object switches an adult Gojo with his past eight-year-old self. Megumi, with the help of a few others, handles the turbulent aftermath.
