They’ve done this often enough that there’s a routine to it now. Sasha turns her tv on, picks up the remote, and crosses her room to sit on her bed next to her moonbeam, offering her arms out enticingly. “Come on, Marsh– you look like you’re gonna collapse.”
Marcy makes a non-commital noise in the back of her throat, but she obliges, scooting forwards to drop herself into Sasha’s arms. Despite the hoodie, she’s shivering, so Sasha pulls the blankets over them as well, holding her.
Maybe it’s a little strange, her willingness to hold her best friend. Sasha doesn’t think so, not after all that’s happened, all that they nearly lost. She never wants to let go of Marcy again.

“Nothing. Getting water.” For a guy who is notorious for a straight face, he sure looked panicked. And the obvious excuse almost convinced Sero in his sleep-addled brain—he had to squint to double check he still saw the baking sheet poking out from behind Todoroki.
“Dude, I can still see the baking sheet, so you don’t have to lie. Also, why the hell are you down here at,” he walked closer to the kitchen and looked at the clock on the oven. “Eleven o’clock? At night? On a Tuesday?”
Todoroki shuffled, still not moving away from his place in front of the baking sheet. He looked down at his feet, brows pushing down into a semi-frustrated scowl. “I was trying to bake something but...it didn’t turn out quite like I had planned.” "----

Luz overhears a serious argument going on between Eda and Lilith downstairs. She doesn't know exactly what they're quarreling over, but it doesn't sound pretty. Knowing about these two and their history, she doesn't like the fact that they're arguing at all, and a series of distressing thoughts and images get into her head as everything in the last week crashes down on her.
Takes place a week after "Young Blood, Old Souls" and half a week before "Separate Tides." Think of this as a little side-story that briefly goes over a bit of development that a couple of characters could use.
