“Something has been stolen from us,” Thanatos said, his wings puffing up as he spoke. “Something that is very important to us. And we are fairly certain that the person who stole this thing of ours is in this very crowd.”
Dream tensed beside Tommy as the crowd broke out into murmurs. Eyes were darting towards the different heroes in the crowd, the benefactors no doubt assuming that the culprit had to be a hero.
“Like we said, we haven’t crashed your party to cause trouble. But we want this thing returned to us, and we won’t hesitate to take extreme measures to get what we want.”
or, Tommy was a lot of things: a newly debuted hero sidekick, an amnesiac, and a former kidnapping victim of the Syndicate.
Tommy didn't actually remember that last one though. That was just what Dream told him.
Only weeks after his hero debut, the Syndicate announces they are searching for something, and Tommy knows it has to be him. The scariest part? If they find him, Tommy will have no clue what to expect, because the Syndicate might know him, but he has no memories of them.
So he can't let them find him. No matter what.
Of course they end up finding him anyway.

Summary
Building a zombie apocalypse team is hard work, they have to be ready for absolutely anything the apocalypse can throw at them.
So when the apocalypse arrived, Technoblade was displeased to discover his team consisted of himself, three 13 year olds with exactly zero life preservation skills, and a broken figurine of an obscure comic book hero lovingly named Micheal.
When a zombie eventually takes him out, he's going to fist fight whoever decided that these were fair odds.
AKA Techno is a moody teen who hates kids but there's an apocalypse and suddenly he's in charge of three of them, they are the bane of his existence but they are also so small and he would die before he lets them get hurt.

Tommy nodded like it was the most simple thing in the world, like he hadn't just proposed the most ridiculous idea Tubbo had ever heard in his life.
"Like I said. We should look into it."

"I know. And a monster did it. Are you with me or not?"
Obviously not, Tubbo wanted to yell, but he couldn't help his mind from drifting back to what he'd seen. What they'd both seen. Truth be told, he could almost believe it.Or
Tubbo moved to a new town with his father hoping for the best in his new life. Instead, he found himself caught right in the middle of a murder case, investigating with his new friend, Tommy, into what they believed was a monster. What they end up discovering along the way isn't exactly what they're looking for.

Me: (truthful) Yes.
Tommy: Does Dream like his name?
Me: Yes, I think so. (Do you? We have never discussed.)
The conversation became boring again for about ten minutes, or so, until Tommy said…

My heart feels 10 times heavier after reading this. God I feel so fucking bad for Jack. This shit was hella good tho, I like how tubbo slowly ascended into a downwards spiral, getting worse and worse as the story progressed. Despite it being only 3 chapters long I felt like a read a whole damn novel. There's not enough Tubbo centric works out there that focus on tubbo mainly and I really like this one. Thank you for this roller coaster of a fucking fic :]

Summary
The setting, for the moment, is a house on the edge of town, bordered closely by the forest. Our characters are as follows: Philza Minecraft, immortal Angel of Death, loving father of the slightly less immortal Wilbur Soot. Wilbur is an aspiring musician, intent on traveling the many worlds to share his music and his ideals. His father plans to go with him to watch him achieve greatness, just as he has always known his little boy would be capable of doing. Our third character, and the focus of our story, is one Technoblade. The Blood God, Slayer of Armies, Feller of Unjust Regimes.
However, a foe is about to join the party.
That foe being a three-month-old mortal infant by the name of Tommy Innit. A nuisance, if you were to ask our protagonist. A nuisance he will undoubtedly grow fond of.

Shuffling footsteps ended Techno's brief moment of reflection. He stiffened, alert and painfully aware that he was still utterly helpless.
A familiar half rotting face loomed out of the shadows. It was the same zombie again, but it seemed to have something under its arm. The creature fumbled for a moment before dumping whatever it had on the ground before him. Despite himself, Techno leaned forward to see.
A first aid kit?
"Heh?"
The zombie blinked slowly, its mouth working for a moment. "Eh?" it managed.
In which Technoblade discovers that some zombies are more human than others.
Or
Families grieve, and the dying waste away, but the distance between them is not as vast as it might appear.
