It had started completely innocently.
Ed had simply decided he was rather sick of Stede paying more attention to the television than to him on a Saturday afternoon, and had flopped onto the couch beside him, draping himself over Stede’s lap. Although, maybe Ed didn’t need to be quite so demanding about it, considering how ‘malicious compliance’ was practically his husband’s entire brand.
Plus, Stede is rather excellent at driving Ed out of his goddamn mind without adding the element of brat-tamer into the mix, so when he does step into his dominant side, it often ends with Ed half-delirious, begging for Stede to–
