"Yes, baby. I'll read your script for....D.S.F.F? What does that stand for anyways?" Louis asked, as Cookie handed him a sheet of paper.
"Daddy's Sharp Fang Fucker." Lestat answered, Louis choked on his next breath. Surely he had misheard that....right?
"The fuck?!?" He spat, Lestat simply grinned in return.
"Wait wait wait...." Louis rushed, his eyes falling to the paper in his hand. Reading over the lines his face grew redder and redder by the second.
"It is nice ring to it, oui? Alex says it is very....ummm...Cunty! That is good thing I've heard, mon cœur. " Lestat chirped, Louis blinked at the man. He had no idea what the hell that even meant.
"If I am to be Brat Prince I must be cunt, Louis. You must understand, it is how you say....eating?" Lestat continued.
"Did you give him a crash course on slang?"
"I have learned from the twittering, cherie."

Louis gave an amused sound. “You really want to read together baby? You’re not usually into books.”
That wasn’t necessarily true. Louis just never understood why Lestat didn’t finish the books he had attempted to read. He just thought Lestat didn’t enjoy them.
Why he thought that when Lestat had bought them hundreds of books was beyond his comprehension. He really did want to read them! He wanted to be cultured, he really did.
“Of course! It would be very nice to enjoy a novel together. And I love hearing your voice, Mon amour.” Lestat hoped this was enough to convince Louis. And he really hoped Louis didn’t question it.
To his companion’s credit, Louis didn’t question Lestat further. At least he didn’t have time to because Claudia stopped playing.

The shadowhunter has been putting a lot of effort into their relationship lately and into snuffing out the demons of insecurity that lurk within his mind. However, when he over hears a group of guests whispering about how he doesn't belong at Magnus' side those demons get the upperhand. He retreats from the party in hopes of fighting them off but ends up getting help from Izzy for if he can't truly believe that he is enough for Magnus at least he can make everyone believe he believes he is. Right?
