Wait a minute. I scroll back up a bit and am met with a pleasantly familiar face, staring back at me. The cover is tinted in dark yellows and reds, with a barely visible arrow, pointed accusingly at the viewer and a conspicuous burning pin, right behind the title.
The Hunger Games.
Or, Grace and Rocky watch the entire Hunger Games trilogy and through one keen observation end up baring all their pent up feelings for one another.

I lived with this hunger long before the Hail Mary. This is nothing new. I’m fine.
Right up until Rocky asks another question.
“When last time you touch other human person skin, question?”
Oh. Oh no. “When I… a few days after I first woke up here.”
Rocky starts to relax for a split second, but then tightens when something occurs to him.
“Grace crewmates dead when you wake up. You said this, statement. You not even know your own name, remember nothing, see dead bodies, confirm?”
I nod, because if I open my mouth I will gag.
“When last time Grace touch ALIVE human person, question.”
I swallow thickly. I don’t answer aloud because I know Rocky can hear the hitch in my breath. My stomach churns with fresh bile. He senses my vital signs tick over into stress patterns and goes very, very still again.
“Grace. When last time, question.”
I clench my jaw so hard my temples ache, and beg him with my eyes to just stop.
“Grace. Please say not when… when Evil Stratt humans put you to sleep.”
I can taste grass.

After Roger achieved his goal, he returned to the love of his life to live out his life with only calm days ahead. His son was born and doted on the boy, soon enough gaining two more sons in the coming years. He approved of their dreams and would not get in the way of them.
But he drew the line at executions.
The Marines better be prepared, because the Pirate King is coming, and he won't rest until his son was safe.

Summary
Gem had forgotten to ask what movie they were to watch, and thought about asking but instead decided that it didn’t matter all that much anyway. The group usually chose something no one had seen before unless it was a classic or a collective favourite, which meant a title wouldn’t give her much insight.
Ignoring the matter, she reached into her inventory and fished out some assorted snacks; Pearl’s favourite chips, Gem’s favourite chips (even though it was more likely that she would be eating Pearl’s the whole night), gummy worms, and a half-eaten pack of gummy bears.
