Some people are born with soulmarks. Zuko has them, but his grandfather burned them off because they "make you weak."

Picking up where canon leaves off, my Eden!verse chronicles Aziraphale & Crowley's adventures through great losses, gains, and life's cosmic curveballs. From a village on Earth to Heaven, Hell, and Eden itself, Aziraphale and Crowley make many new friends, learn God's plan for them, and discover what it means to love each other.
It is, in turns, gripping, epic, heartrending, sweet, romantic, and humorous. Based on my readers' comments, there is a great likelihood that you will cry.

“It’s angel food cake,” he said. He waited. When Aziraphale did nothing but nod politely: “It’s funny, see, ‘cause-”
“No, no, I get it.” Aziraphale nodded again. “Very funny.”
“Oh, shut up, it is-”
“May I ask what brought this on?”
Crowley paused. “Can’t a guy just want to try baking?”
(Or, Crowley makes Aziraphale food after the world doesn't end. It has absolutely nothing to do with how much he wants to make Aziraphale smile.)

“The Angel of the Eastern Gate.” Crawly grins. “What’s your name, anyway? You never said.”
“Oh...” Apologies, Aziraphael almost says, but then he doesn’t. That would be taking things a bit too far. This is still the Enemy. “Aziraphael.”
“Aziraphael,” repeats Crawly—or tries to, because halfway through the word he chokes. Quite badly.
Or: What if Aziraphale’s name was originally "Aziraphael", in keeping with the conventional spelling and pronunciation of angel names, but because of its divine nature Crowley is physically unable to say it out loud. -

It almost sounds like the start of a joke: an angel, a demon, and a superfluous baby walk into a bar, only the baby can’t walk yet, of course, and the demon’s odd stride is more of a saunter than a walk, really, and by “bar” we actually mean “domestic family situation."

Summary
Eobard's initial attempt at changing Barry Allen's past does not, in any way, go according to plan. However, he knows that by creating the Flash he might still stand a chance of returning to his own time, even if it would mean forgoing this opportunity to eliminate his nemesis once and for all...
Matters take another turn for the worse, however, when Gideon reveals to him that Barry Allen is destined to die almost immediately in foster care. Eobard therefore has no other choice but to care for the boy himself, as Harrison Wells.
