Summary
Here’s the thing, Techno’s supposed to be a warrior, right? It’s what he’s best at. He was born to kill and destroy and when he died, he expected hell for it. It’s probably what he deserves.
Instead, Techno is dragged out of the Afterlife and into the home of the Gods of Death, because apparently their son is a big fan. Now they won’t let go of him.
Techno has no idea what’s going on other than the need to get out.
Unfortunately, they do not let go so easily.

Tommy is finally getting his ears pierced. He just has to deal with Techno lecturing him on the right kind of earrings, and sit still as Techno's instincts insist he check over everything numerous times and... sit through a surprise Phil visit? That last part wasn't on the agenda when they planned for today, but he's sure nothing could ever go wrong with this (it's not like an instinct driven Techno spent their entire childhoods finding ways to avoid Phil...). Everything's going to be just fine.

A hand landed in his hair, playing with his golden curls, a rumbling close to his ear. The Blood God was so close, so close, so close, too close.
The Angel of Death crouched down in front of him, a concerned look in his stormy ocean eyes. He smiled softly at Tommy like he was the most precious thing in the world, and the boy couldn't even stop the warm feeling curling in his gut.
The man's taloned hands reached forward, gripping Tommy's chin between them and making blue eyes meet blue. "We can't," he murmured, like one would coax an injured animal. "No one's taking care of you, dove, not even yourself. You're here now, though. We'll take care of you."

Dead things don’t always stay dead. Even after you shove a knife through their throat. Tommy had to learn that the hard way.
Or,
Tommy and his family have moved to a new town for Phil's job. Children have been going missing, and Phil is a detective assigned to the case. Despite the death of Phil's wife a year ago, their family is perfect.
They're not at all neglectful towards Tommy. Everything is just fine.
Until Tommy discovers a door in the wall. A door which takes him to another world, one that's all too similar to his own. And yet, is so much better in every way possible. Quite literally, a dream come true.
Until Tommy discovers that the other version of his family aren't quite willing to let him leave. And once they've got a grip on him, they won't be letting him go home easily.
Maybe this world isn't a dream after all...

Summary
Thomas Theseus Innit was only 5 when the zombie apocalypse started, 7 when his parents both lost their lives to the weirdly smart and athletic zombies.
Now here he was; after years of surviving on his own, wondering if his decision to go into this strangely abandoned city was a good one.
Especially since the place holds a few walkers way too sentient for his liking, and why won’t they leave him alone?
OrHis awakening wasn't so peaceful.
The first thing he noticed was that burning feeling that clung to his skin the moment he entered the city.
Like he was being watched.
Then he realized how dark it was. It must still be night, but the soft moonlight that acted as his only comfort was now gone, replaced by a tall shadow.
Tommy was confused for a moment, until the shadow moved.
He was up in an instant, whipping around to look at the bedroom window behind him.
There, squating on the apartment buildings fire escape, was a zombie.
It was right up against the glass, rapid breath causing it to fog from its proximity.
It’s blood shot eyes staring right at him.

Summary
Priests are never trained or taught to be priests. There is not a special academy nor class taught on the many things they did. But rather, Priests are chosen by their God, when said God feels they are ready.
Tommy was only 16 when he was chosen by The Moon to serve as the man's Priest. Making his trek to the cold temples in the moonlight clearings surrounded by snowy mountains. He knows the stories, the rumors, but he can't ignore the calling.
Maybe things will be alright.

Summary
Tommy was taught at a young age that monsters were hidden within the dark. Interacting with them meant you never returned, what happened to you was completely unknown. Although, Tommy never seen one out of the corner of his eye, he knows how dangerous they are... so monsters showing up during a black out while he was home alone was terrifying to say the least.

Tubbo stares. "We've known each other four months, tops."
Alright, then. Tommy's acting skills are needed once more. "What're you talking about?" Tommy asks, head tilting to the side slightly.
Eyebrows furrowed, eyes forcibly confused. "We've– you think we only met four months ago?"
"I– yeah?" Tubbo says, equally as confused. There's a quiet 'thud' from upstairs. Tommy coughs loudly to cover it. Tubbo doesn't seem to notice, continuing, "You moved here four months ago."
"Well, yeah, but that's not the first time we met," Tommy says, smiling, like it's obvious. He makes his smile falter when Tubbo doesn't agree. "The sunflower field? You don't remember?" Tubbo just keeps staring at him, lost. Tommy makes his voice sad, "You genuinely don't remember? I thought..." he trails off.

Phil let out a low warble at the thought, pupils dilating. He was already losing the reins on his instincts. Of course, he was, it had been forever since he let them win, always vying for some semblance of control.
He turned his back on the bodies of the humans slaughtered, spreading his wings wide.

“My gold.” Techno spoke, thousands of voices echoing in his words. Whispering and chattering. His calloused hand reaching up, dragging along the blood that was dripping from Tommy’s neck. Dripping down and burning away in the flames consuming the roots that held him.
The same hand that had fed him and given him shelter, as involuntary as it had been, was gently placed at the back of his skull. Techno’s thumb pulling across the golden earring that now felt like an anchor dragging him below the surface of a pool of magma.
Wearing Techno’s face, the Blood God grinned at him.
Tommy did not regret punching him.

It all started with a stray bit of gossip that reached Wilburs ears as he settled down for his drink; he barely heard the conversation. Only tuning in when his mind caught on the slightly raised voices.
There were two guards sitting just inside the door of the Cafe across the area. He could make out their rather unkempt uniforms and plain iron swords.
“— it’s been locked up for now. James said he’d do the ritual at midnight; that’s when all the travelers will be asleep or out of town.” The heavier soldier groaned.
Wilbur blinked, curiosity peaked. Only interesting things came from a statement like that.
