A gentle touch. A smile. A phrase spoken in a soft tone. The slightest act of affection would make Dogman his—Petey knew that perfectly well. He was desperate for his love, so obviously it hurt. But Petey’s soul wasn’t ready to return that love, and it never would be. The thought of giving him hope felt criminally wrong. It felt like robbing Ohkay’s first bank while laughing in everyone’s face. Euphoric and miserable all at once. Dogman’s heart was the city’s greatest treasure—on display and unguarded, with nothing to shield it. His for the taking, if only he dared to stretch out a paw and claim it.

Homecoming AU.
Ben and May divorced before Peter’s parents died, so when Ben is murdered Peter goes into foster care. It takes just a tiny taste of superpowers for Peter to decide he doesn’t want to put up with his horrible foster father anymore—the streets are infinitely more appealing. All he wants is to be Spider-Man anyway.
So he leaves.
Simple.
Simple, that is, until Iron Man needs Spider-Man’s help. Peter isn’t about to turn down an opportunity to fight alongside Tony Freaking Stark, but he also isn’t going to let his hero know that his recruit is a fifteen-year-old homeless dropout. Katsuki tried to move again, but it was useless. Too much weight pinning him down. If he used his quirk to blow the rubble up, he could end up aggravating the fragile building and making it collapse further. He remembered his friends were down there, on the first floor, and maybe Kirishima was there too. He didn’t want to accidentally make more rubble fall on the top of them.
The thought made a shiver run down his spine, and he trembled. Fuck. This was supposed to be a fun day out. A hang out session between friends who missed each other and wanted to have some time off before school started again. This wasn’t supposed to be a disaster.
Alternatively, class 1-A is caught in a building collapse, and Katsuki and Izuku end up stuck together.
