Summary
Minutes after being shot and then whisked away to safety, Chloe made it back to the loft just in time to see a red-skinned monst— figure standing up from Pierce’s lifeless body with a blade in his hand.
In a moment of panic that would be making her cringe for the rest of her life, she’d then freaked out and panicked like a rookie and grabbed the nearest gun she could find and now there were two bodies lying on the floor. Thank everything in the universe except Lucifer’s Dad, one of them was still breathing.
This was, beyond a doubt, the worst freaking day of Chloe’s life.

Great concept, great execution. One of the funniest twists on the usual reveal formula I've seen on here.

The whiplash of going from a santa-obsessed Manfred Von Karma to a truly harrowing suicide scene is the type of shit I love these games for, 10/10, would read again
