Or: Priest Steve Harrington had always lied to himself, about who he was and what he was. But a demon had heard his lies, and it wanted him to face them head on (and sealed their souls together in the process).

After going to see Labyrinth, Steve learns more about Eddie, something he didn't expect. Through new experiences and time spent together, they find their shared loneliness can be solved by one another. New bonds are formed, relationships strengthen and secrets begin. Through this and with Eddie's help, Steve finds the part of him he'd been hiding away for so long.

Seventy-two seconds.
For all the radars and satellites and early warning systems, the Earth had seventy-two seconds between the appearance of the alien ships and the first bomb that hit the ground. Barely over a minute, just enough time to wonder if it was real or reach for the phone. Simultaneously, the sky above eighty-one metropolitan areas brightened and a whistling sound was heard followed by a thump-whoosh-rattle as the device passed through the atmosphere. For most, the shattering of glass and rending of metal was their first indication something was wrong and, by then, it was too late. The dark cylinders slammed into buildings, fell on roads, and smashed onto houses with concussive force, blowing out windows and sending a shock wave hurtling outward.
An alien invasion/post-apocalyptic/end-of-the-world big AU with three pairings: Clint/Coulson, Tony/Bucky, and Natasha/Pepper. The story is told through Clint & Phil's POV but all three pairs have a story arc.

Tony had always thought Bucky was attractive and that was one of the reasons as to why he had distanced himself from his stepbrother. Nothing could ever happen between them and so it was best to keep his distance and act like he hated the other boy. The last part was pretty easy which Tony learned as soon as Bucky opened his mouth. He was arrogant and an asshole.
Now, with the way Bucky was looking down at Tony, something stirred in his stomach. Bucky smirked.
