Summary
Will Graham sailed across the Atlantic after he recovered from the jagged slice in his belly. He saw the origami heart left in Palermo. He forgave Hannibal in the catacombs. He even went all the way out to Lithuania, to Lecter castle, in hopes of better understanding the elusive Dr. Lecter. But... he decided, then, that it was best for everyone if he and Hannibal never saw one another again.
He instead retired to a small cabin in Triple Oak, Montana, with only one neighbor. Duncan was gruff at first, but gradually they built a friendship and even more gradually they built something else. Will is happy. Safe. Things are stable.
But Hannibal Lecter cannot let him go that easily, and there are plenty out there who cannot let Hannibal go, either.

Summary
Will Graham, sharp-eyed and sharp-mouthed, has always been a bit weird with his uncanny sense of doomed fate.
After a traumatic Christmas, floating through his masters program with the reluctant help of his friends, a chance meeting at a lecture with known Doctor Emeritus and Professor of Lithuanian Culture, Hannibal Lecter, puts him on the spot to make a change.
An invitation to see the insular Lecter Estate's nine-day celebration of the Rasos festival is just the kind of mental reset he needs. Doctor Lecter is certain of it.

“He… could… be ugly now?”
Remus snorts.
“You never know. A lot can happen to a guy in seven years.”
A lot can happen to an already plain werewolf in seven years. He can acquire more scars, develop grey streaks, wrinkle prematurely. But to the classically gorgeous force of nature that is Sirius Black? “He was in America, not Azkaban. And even then…”

Summary
“I probably shouldn’t tell you this,” Scott says, eyeing Stiles’ fries. “But Derek Hale is back in town. I saw him at the gas station the other day.”
This piques Stiles’ interest. Oh yes it does. Like any good true crime aficionado, Stiles has his favourite case. His pet cold case. His hometown murder. The thing he brings up when he’s tired of small talk and just wants to get real.
The Hale Family Fire and the suicide of Katherine Argent.
Stiles knows this case inside and out. He’s racked up thousands of karma points on reddit for his thoughtful analysis, his pictures of the crime scene, and of his reporting of local gossip. Beacon Hills is a small town, small enough that Stiles is the only one on the Unresolved Mysteries subreddit to have actually seen the burnt out shell in person.
He’ll tell anyone who listens what he finds fascinating about the case. Absolutely no shame. He’s read all of the articles, he’s pestered his father’s deputies for more information, and he’s read every cold case compilation book that so much as mentions it.
No one knows this case like Stiles does.

Summary
There'd always been talk, around the Isles, of old creatures from the deep that would throw themselves on the rocks and call out to trawlermen on their morning catch, luring them through the fog to wreckage and despair; stranding them on causeways at high tides to perish and drown. Remus had never put much stock in any of that.
Remus finds something on the beach, among the mist and the rock pools and the banks of kelp, white with seafoam.

Summary
It's a tiny little place, squeezed between a bookstore and a small café advertising herbal teas and fruit scones. The frontage - which Remus is quite certain used to be a peeling, sun-flaked shade of orange - is now a deep black, dark as the Whitby jet in the shop up the hill, and the bay window has been filled up with all manner of trinkets; tiny wooden boxes engraved with ivies and vines, and leather-bound books and silver knots worked into rings and necklace pendants, and little pools of crystal stones in lavender and plum and delicate, glossy rose-pink.
Remus is a lonely painter. Sirius is a shopkeeper who might just have a solution for that. Summertime on the Yorkshire coast, with crystals, and candle-smoke, and sunshine.

He gestures to the leg in question. “So what’s wrong with it?”
A man of few words. Good. Remus can cope with a man of few words. “It’s fucked,” Remus tells him without pause.
Sirius barks a surprised laugh, showing off straight teeth that are either the result of some impressive orthodontic work or just really excellent genetics. “Oh, we’ll have fun, I think.”

Summary
The rise and fall of the Minyard-Josten Rivalry.
Usually when Neil starts shit in a post-game press interview, he does it on purpose. This time, he really just meant for it to be a joke.“How do you feel about the possibility of ending up on a team with a former Fox teammate?” is the next question.
“Great,” Neil answers, sincere. “I would love to play with Matt or Kevin again.”
“What about Minyard? Would you sign with Atlanta?”
Neil says, “Andrew? He’s a nightmare.”
He knows it’s a joke. His team knows it’s a joke. Andrew will know it’s a joke.
The press does not seem to know that it’s a joke.

Summary
A collection of paper tumbled out of the record sleeve and onto the coffee table. Parchment of varying quality, scraps torn from lined notebooks; some folded into pocket-sized squares, others rolled into tight scrolls. Remus’s hands shook as he sifted through them.

Summary
“So what’s he like? Full of it? Arrogant?”
“Yes,” he says, because he thinks that is a fair assessment. Sirius Black is full of it. He is arrogant. He’s also entitled and needy and smug. He’s talented, reckless, moody, selfish, childish, charming and sweet, and a million different other things Remus is trying to wrap his head around.
Sirius Black is hard work.
Remus Lupin is a successful documentary filmmaker who is assigned to make a fly-on-the-wall documentary featuring Sirius Black - one of the world's most brilliant footballers - as he competes in the European Championship.
All does not go smoothly.
--
Fair warning: Remus knows nothing about football and neither do I. Also, this is about football in the global sense. I can't call it soccer. I just can't.
This will not be hugely explicit, but it will be mature. I am an adult. If you are not, or you feel uncomfortable with adult themes, please steer clear.
I read and love all comments but seem to struggle to reply to them in an acceptable timeframe. Sorry about that.

Summary
This is, Sirius knows, where he should reel off their drinks order, but he momentarily loses the ability to form words because this man is... well, he’s really fucking beautiful. His hair is curly; long on the top but cut short on the sides, and it’s golden, everything about him is just golden. His eyes and his freckles and the impatient scowl on his face. His lips are full and unimpressed, a little rough from the inclement weather, pursed together as he waits for Sirius to speak.
“Erm,” Sirius mumbles, losing all of his usual swagger. “Three pints of bitter please.”
The man nods, pulls the pints with practised proficiency and hands the card machine to Sirius. “Ten sixty.”
Sirius starts. “For all three drinks?”
The man arches an eyebrow. “Not from round these parts, are you?”

Summary
“He’s coming home, James. What the hell am I meant to do with that? It’s been eight fucking years and we’re meant to... what? Just meet him at the pub? Buy him a drink like-” He shakes his head. “What will I do with my face?”
James takes a sip of lemonade, taking his role as designated driver very seriously as always. He has a smudge of dirt on his nose from ‘wrestling a conifer the size of a bear’, but Sirius doesn’t think to mention it because he’s somewhat preoccupied with his own problems, which, for the avoidance of doubt, are many and insurmountable.
“Your face?”
“Yes, exactly! It’ll give me away the second he sees me. He’ll know right away that eight bloody years has done nothing at all to dampen it down. Dripping with hurt. As if I don’t still feel-”

Summary
Unthinkingly, he found himself reaching out to lightly trail the fingers of his right hand over the black and white keys of the piano; perhaps he had expected to find them still warm, or did so in some wild hope that they might convey to him their secrets through some magic or apparition. But they were cold, and told him nothing of what had just passed there, and Remus blinked down at them from behind his wire-rimmed glasses, and frowned.
"Very interesting."
Remus spends his summer at a crumbling country manor, unravelling its mysteries and discovering old-forgotten secrets within its tapestried walls.

Summary
Remus has always believed that December is the Hall's very best month. It's like the place was built to have boughs of holly and fir strung from every wall sconce and picture rail; like its architect, all those hundreds of years ago, designed it specifically to bear the big, fat garlands he and Lily wind around its balustrades and bannisters, and the jolly wreaths that they hoist into place on every door, and the towering, beribboned tree that stands proudly in the hotel reception and takes four of them a whole afternoon to decorate.
A country hotel in the wintertime. Plenty of snow, plenty of mulled wine, and a feeling that this Christmas might be different.

Summary
He's all cheekbones and soft, shoulder-length hair, the colour of Whitby jet, and it's tucked on the one side back behind his ear and then there's one pretty strand hanging loosely over his brow, and he's watching Remus uncertainly and when they make eye contact - when the noise of the four-by-four across the car park fades away to static, and the train on the platform huffs out a great cloud of smoke that Remus doesn't see - Remus feels his cheeks grow hot under his tan and something funny happens in his throat, and he thinks to himself: "Wow," and then, straightaway: "That’s bloody inconvenient."

Summary
It's lovely up here; all meadows dotted with wildflowers, wind-beaten tracks criss-crossing this way and that through the fields, weaving inland to the pinewoods. The sun's hot on his back as he passes ramshackle stone walls, long since crumbled to piles of ancient rubble and scree, and then the path winds downwards, still following the line of the coast until Sirius finds himself outside an old white cottage, tucked away behind the hill with a rose garden that faces out to the sea.
Sirius moves to Cornwall for the summer and meets a rude, beautiful boy who is writing a book that may or may not be about dragons.

Summary
The four-by-four heaves its way down long, twisting lanes, little more than dirt tracks scuffed into the surrounding fields and hemmed in by serpentine walls of flat, grey stone. They truly are in the middle of nowhere: the countryside rushes past, all rolling green hills and vast, endless skies, and it's odious. Sirius wants to murder James with his bare hands.
Sirius and James accidentally find themselves on a Yorkshire farm during lambing season. The farmer’s son thinks that’s a bit annoying, actually.

Summary
How wonderful, Sirius thinks, to be so sure of the direction in which you’re headed and yet so free to wander down whichever path takes your fancy next. It’s something like the complete opposite of where he finds himself; no idea where he’s supposed to be going, and agonising over every turn along the way. The idea of happily floating from city to city, figuring oneself out on the road, is both intoxicating and utterly, utterly terrifying.
Sirius is a neurotic mess on an ill-advised assignment for a travel magazine. Remus is ten years his senior, writing his thesis whilst living in Paris. Wine is involved.
