Percy blinked again.

The girl paused.

“Am I dead?” Percy then asked, idly wondering if this was all just a very strange dream.
“Most likely. Though if you’re here instead of whichever afterlife you’d usually go to, then you’re probably not dead-dead. Just… mostly dead.”

They just gloss over the (very serious) things that should/could have happened if the movies were to actually follow real world logic. So this is my attempt at bringing some realism to the MCU in the form of short unconnected snippets of AU scenarios.

It’s a fundamental constant, that Tony Stark is a billionaire and a genius and philanthropist and we’ve heard this time and time again over the movies. Nobody in canon seems to appreciate just how much of a bullet they dodged, though [
not so much a bullet as a Jericho missile]- that Tony, being Tony, focused on a better, brighter future, and not, you know, world domination. [It would have been so easy, at any point.]But then again, there’s so many times when Tony Stark could have thrown in the towel and made the world a far worse place, long before the good Captain even got defrosted- and even more so after.
