This story HAS a happy ending for most people (fuck Andrealphus and Stella) and while I put the mildly dubious consent tag to be safe, it is no more dubious than the canon Arrangement for our main couple (Blitz/Stolas).The reasons why will become clearer in later chapter, as they get to know each other, and aren't evident as the first two as Blitz and Stolas starts to interact directly in chapter 3. (I thank Ria to have pointed to me I wasn't clear in the description!)
THE STORY DEALS WITH DARK THEMES. Revolutions are among the darkest time in World's History, and I cannot imagine it being better in Hell. Please, take care.

Blitzø's heart is pounding. They're toeing a line here, one they've been dancing around for a year, and he's so tired of pretending.
And then Stolas swipes his thumb across Blitzø’s knee where his hand is resting, casual. Possessive. Sweet with an ache that twists the very breath in his lungs.
"Tell me to stop," Blitzø says, and his voice comes out rougher than he intended. "If you want me to stop."
Stolas tilts his head up, and his eyes are molten red in the Sinsmas lights, and he's so close Blitzø can feel his breath. Smell the ginger and alcohol, and the sweetness that he remembers the flavor of even after all this time.
"I don't," Stolas breathes, somehow already sounding a little wrecked. "I really, really don't."

Fuck, he was beat to shit, and all he could smell for a few long moments was blood and smoke that clung to his clothes, then the faintest hint of lavender. It was practically a Pavlovian response, the way Blitz's muscles loosened.

The curtains fluttered open, and Blitz felt like he'd been shot directly in the chest, because standing there, frozen, beak open, was Stolas, gripping his stupid top hat and all four eyes wide and trained on Blitz's beat-up form.

“You still gonna sign? I know a lot of that shit is intense and-” He cut himself off at the sound of Stolas’s pen scrawling across the parchment.

A deal promising this demon his firstborn child.

“Fuck, Fizz,” is his intelligent retort. That claw on his hip smooths out into a palm, an open-handed squeeze over muscle, and they’re sighing together. It’s tiny and cool, lacking long, beautiful talons, and Blitzø can’t stop comparing the two. He can see it in the mirror when he looks back, and both of their shoulders go lax. He’s fucking up.
It’s hard not to when Stolas feels so cold lately. So foreign. Long gone was the soft lilt of his voice sing-songing his name affectionately. Getting his hands on Blitzø felt less like a priority and more like going through the motions. He’d be lying if he said he didn’t miss the attention, and Fizzarolli makes it so easy to feed on.
or Living with Stolas is getting tense. Luckily, Blitz has Fizzarolli to give him what he needs, and remind him what he really deserves.
