“Huh? I thought you said you got in a fight.” Kazuki looked up, meeting his partner’s eyes. “You didn’t get hurt? Where did the blood come from?”
Rei’s eyes narrowed slightly at the insistence. He wrapped his hand around Kazuki’s wrist and pulled it away from his face, then briskly side-stepped out of his reach.
“It’s not mine,” the man muttered. And with that he turned down the hall, disappearing into the bathroom, leaving Kazuki alone once again.
He was quiet for a while, his gaze fixed to the door Rei had vanished through, now shut.

Something has always been off about Kazuki’s flatmate, Rei. But now he notices it more than ever. With his flatmate disappearing almost every night and coming back more and more wrong, Kazuki’s mounting worry begins to clash with Rei’s solitary nature. -

Theseus was born from the stars.
He was made of little bits of seashell and sand, crushed together and molded with spring water and mud. His lungs were full of wind from mountains that rose so high they disappeared into the clouds. His eyes were full of the rising dawn, pale blue painted across the sky like watercolor. His flesh was made of moss and grass and tiny bits of flowers. His hair was made of clouds and fields of rye that rippled like scarves when the wind danced through them. His heart was full of magma, fiery and bright and with a light built to never burn out. And yet he looked so human. with baby blue eyes and sunshine blonde hair, pale skin with a rose colored tint, a smile like freshly fallen snow, a laugh like birdsong. And though years and eons had passed, he hardly changed, still untainted and young, barely a teen.
Theseus was born from the stars, and placed on earth long ago to keep it company, to look after it.

“You know, sometimes I think you just like being annoying,” Wolfwood grouses. He reaches out to muck up Vash’s hair, and grins when he squawks. “Like you get something outta making people mad at you.”
“Not people. You.” Vash’s eyes twinkle for a moment before he draws back. “But that isn’t why I put up the mistletoe. Come on, it’ll be fun. You might even find someone you like under it, you know?”
Wolfwood sincerely doubts that. For one thing, he’s already found someone he likes—and there’s no way in hell he’s ending up under a mistletoe with him. Matter of fact, Wolfwood might just try and avoid the damn thing altogether. Better not to risk any incidents, and besides, he’s taking care of the food for the party today, so he’ll probably be spending most of the event in the kitchen. Risk-free. No worries.
It really is too bad, that he finds Vash just a little bit too endearing—even when he’s being shit-eating—to take any real action against his shenanigans.

Vash swallows, sighing in bliss. “I forgot to eat lunch and–” he thumbs a sprinkle into his mouth. “And I really like donuts.”
Wolfwood smiles. “Good to know.”

“Caramel Macchiato with six pumps of vanilla!”
He doesn’t ask for the man’s name. Instead, he simply shakes his head, makes the drink, and writes ‘Blondie’ on the cup.
