Summary
It takes a lot for omega Jensen Ackles to leave his relationship with an abusive alpha, and when he does, he finds himself in a familiar spot on Jared Padalecki's doorstep. The house had also been his home before he'd left it to move in with his new boyfriend, storming out after a fight with Jared about what a mistake he was making. He arrives unsure of whether or not the bridge between them has been burned. He had a nice apartment, a job that didn't require much actual work, enough money to last him at least a couple of years, all the souls he could eat, and even a pet one to torture whenever he felt bored. Okay, so he had to put up with his pet soul's annoying friends, who all treated him like he was fragile because of some past tragedy he still hadn't been able to figure out what was. Some boyfriend, dead or gone, who broke poor Jensen's heart or whatever. It didn't matter. Just one less person Jensen had to deal with.
Meanwhile, Jared woke up to yet another boring day in a grey room where nothing ever happened.
