Summary

“The other side Nico! We will see you there. Understand?”
Nico’s eyes widened. “But–“
“Lead them there!” Percy shouted. “Promise me!”
„I–, I will.”
Nico watched in horror how Percy promised Annabeth to always stay together, to never be apart again. Then, Percy let go and he and Annabeth fell down.
All around, he could hear the others shouting and running to help. All too late, Percy and Annabeth were gone.
Suddenly, Nico heard another sound. A strange crackling was increasingly more and more prominent, until it drowned the voices of the remaining five. Before he realized what was happening, the ground beneath his torso was crumbling away, larger and larger pieces were disappearing in the hungry darkness below.
Nico did not have time to react. The next thing he knew, he was falling too.

Link has survived a one hundred year coma, fought monsters four times his size, solved puzzles designed to kill him, shot a giant pig with a glowing bow, and figured out his relationship with Zelda after the mess that their previous one has been one hundred years ago.
But he's not going to survive being the new "baby" of a group of past reincarnations of himself if someone doesn't start taking him seriously.
(AKA: Wild gets hit with magic while teleporting, and in another world, the boys get warped through a corrupted tunnel. This causes their paths to intersect earlier than intended by Hylia as she scrambles to keep them from exploding during the switch, and some strange..."side effects" occur. Mainly, Wild being shrunk down into a body that is 110 years younger than his original, and no one believing him that he is 117 as he drags them across Hyrule to Hateno. After the Calamity was gone, when they could get into a routine and they could live rather than fight to survive, that’s when life finally got easier. It’s also when he could process what he’d lost and then bartered away. He didn’t do it alone, though. He never has. Kit hasn’t ever hesitated to patch him up in return, freely bringing light to his darkest points or just quietly sitting with him when he couldn’t bear to stand. Worth it all, that boy. It’s why he’d argued until he was blue in the face to stay with him, and it’s why he’s not the only one to have been changed. Life got better. Then, of course, the others turned up on their doorstep and their hard-won peace was lost. He’s no Legend, but Twilight deeply dislikes Hylia’s games.

It’s been almost 6 years for Wild, three months for Twilight, and everything has changed. There’s a little girl at home waiting for her parents to return. Wild just needs to work out how to tell Twilight that.
“She turned five two months ago.” Wild whispers, cheek resting on their lover’s hair.
Fingers dig in deeper, arms tightening to the point it’s a little hard to breathe, as another deeply pained whine sounds. It’s an answer without the question needing to be asked. It also tells him how long Wild’s been gone. How much Twilight’s missed out on. Five years of her life gone, to him, in the space three months. Five years and countless milestones of a little girl he never knew existed.
Words are a cold replacement for time. It’s the best they can do.

Nico glanced down at his see-through hands and tried to focus them to return to solid-form but no matter how much he tried for the opposite, he continued to lose form. He glanced around, hoping to at least say goodbye to a familiar face, but he couldn’t recognize anyone through his fading eyes. He didn’t dare risk moving, uncertain how his fading legs would handle the attempted movement. He let out a pained laugh. Of course, of course he couldn’t find happiness in this life.
He was Nico Di Angelo, son of Hades, he wasn’t made for happiness.

Blood of Olympus really foreshadowed Nico dying, didn't it? It would have made sense. However, I saw an idea on Tumblr that it should have made Nico ascend to godhood.

An aerie is a recessed ledge on the side of a cliff. It is commonly chosen by birds to build their nests upon, due to the inherent protection they provide. Many migratory birds will return to the same cliffside so long as it has adequate aeries for the colony.
Humans also need a safe place to grow and build a family. They just go about it differently.
In the case of Tony Stark, sometimes "differently" is an understatement.

Mike used to be in the Army before he ran into Harvey. He doesn’t like talking about what he saw back then or the injuries he suffered. However, when they prevent him from getting up, Harvey steps in and helps him, not only with the pain, but also in getting better accessibility at work.
AKA I give Mike chronic pain, cane swag and shit on the US Military and healthcare system for 13k words.
