Summary
Tom stared for awhile, looking between Colt and his twin. Hm. He slumped back onto his couch, toying with the brim of his shirt. Then, he got an idea. An awfully evil idea. Ryder bolted back to the window his eyes dead set on Colts twin. Colt wasn’t bad looking, obviously, that applied to his twin aswell. And if Ryder wanted to get any sliver of attention, even from Colt, he could do the same thing everyone was doing to that nerdy man. Shamelessly flirt with him.
Tl;dr Ryder flirts with Grace as a joke. It turns out it’s not a joke anymore.

Summary
Something no one tells you about the apocalypse is that it comes slowly, without anyone noticing. The average person might not even realize it is happening. They keep going to work or school. Universities are still full. No bunkers are actually used. Everything is normal. No crisis, no panic, just everyday life continuing while everything slowly begins to fall apart.
//
Ryland Grace is a middle school teacher. He lives with his best friend, sees his brothers at least once a week, and loves his job.
He’s not the hero type. Aside from the occasional bout of social awkwardness, he’s... normal.
At least, he is until his twin brother Colt gets sick and a disturbingly calm woman asks him to help stop the end of humanity.Bookmarked by Marya93

Summary
5 months ago, a series of space stations calling themselves the "Coalition of Iron" appeared throughout the 40-Eridani system, bearing a bewildering and terrifying story of a universe without stars, a humanity on the verge of extinction, and a moon made of human blood.
Simon survived the Eel and the Eye, only to reimprisoned as soon as he was pulled out, subject to the whims of scientists who seek answers in his biology. Now, Ava's dumped him into the custody of a new scientist, separate from the COI, a complete unknown. He's learned better by now than to hope.
Dr. Ryland Grace is pulled from his peaceful life on Erid to retrieve a specimen from the COI, an organism mutated by prolonged exposure to the blood ocean of AT-5
He expects an amoeba. They bring him a person.

Biting: yes or no
Hickeys – too old for them or??
Are handcuffs supposed to hurt?
Ryland and Tom are supposed to have the whole summer to themselves: Ten uninterrupted weeks with no classes, no shoots, and no responsibilities. When Ryland discovers Tom’s little post-it note habit: entire rooms covered in them, with increasingly strange questions hidden amongst mundane reminders, he assumes this is Tom’s way of starting the conversation. Ryland’s more than happy to help Tom explore his kinkier side, one post-it note at a time.
But mixed amongst the questions about restraints and Ryland's favourite things are more worrying reminders. As Tom’s career begins to intrude on their responsibility-free summer, can Tom learn to ask for what he really wants? And can Ryland come to terms with the idea that being a good boyfriend doesn’t mean having to become someone else?
Or: The one where Tom Ryder accidentally creates a kink bucket list all over his house, quiet middle-school teacher Ryland Grace knows far more about kink than anyone expected, and answering questions about sex proves to be considerably easier than talking about what they actually need from each other.

“Did Colt tell you to get this, or did you really buy a bear for someone you’ve never met before?”
“It… made sense at the time.”
When Tom answers Colt’s phone, he expects to gain a little blackmail material. Instead, he abandons filming, acquires an enormous teddy bear, and discovers that Colt has been hiding a technically identical (significantly cuter) twin.
Or: The one where Tom steals Colt’s phone, discovers he has a much hotter twin, and decides this will be a great story to tell at their eventual wedding. This totally counts as a first date, right? Right!

"That's Tom Ryder," Colt whispered to him. "Avoid him at all costs."
"What why?" Ryland asked confused. He tried to take peak around the corner however Colt snapped his head back to face him instead.
"He's the biggest douche this school has ever seen," Colt groaned, clenching his fists. "The school's quarterback, casted in all the big starring roles in the school play, ladies won't get off his back."
"But you're friends with him?"
"Not by choice," Colt scoffed.

“Hey, Colt? Why’s there a video of you crashing out at some conference in Europe?”
Colt has kept his brother and Tom Ryder apart for a reason. When Tom finds a video of Ryland crashing out hours after it happens, he decides what better way to get to the bottom of things than to steal Colt’s truck and take matters into his own hands.
Or: The one where Tom makes his move, accidentally-maybe-technically-kidnaps-Ryland, and Ryland is oddly charmed.

Summary
Dr. Ryland Grace, once an esteemed molecular biologist and now a teacher, gets a call that his estranged brother is in the hospital. After years of not speaking, they reunite when Colt sustains a stunt injury.
As Grace sat in the waiting room, he met a strange but interesting man.
“Colt? The man angrily whispered over Grace’s shoulder. “What the hell, man? I was told you were, like… dead or something. Guess I rushed all the way out here for no reason.
…
What’s with the dorky science pun shirt?”“Huh?” Grace turned his head to see a tall bleach-blonde man leaning over his chair in a dark hoodie with glasses and a mask on. “Oh, I think there’s been a misunderstanding. I’m not Colt.”
….
“What?”
