It’s not that Viktor sneezes, it’s how he does it. And Jayce, to his huge surprise, must admit it’s unexpectedly endearing. So he stares.
“Sorry,” Viktor reaches out for a tissue. “It’s the dust. From the thingy.”
His words bring Jayce back. He blinks and shakes his head, mumbling a quick bless you to which Viktor mumbles a quick thank you, force of habit speaking for them both. It’s all about good manners and expected response.

Summary

When it comes right down to it, all fairytales are really the same: a damsel in distress is rescued by a valiant knight on a noble steed and whisked away to her happily ever after.
Except... Jaskier isn't exactly a 'damsel in distress,' and nobody has ever called Geralt 'valiant.' And his noble steed is an ass, both figuratively and literally.
...Geralt thinks they might've broken the plot of their own story.
