A female voice with a very distinct American accent. The voice sounded exhausted, parched, low, but strong.
"If you're talking to me, you're going to have to speak English sweetheart"
Caitlyn's eyes widened as she looked up from dressing the wound and cerulean eyes found the greyest ones she had ever seen, sending a rush through her that she was unfamiliar with.
Then, Caitlyn spoke.
English this time, laced with a light French accent.
"I told you your wound would need to be stitched up when you were to wake" she simply informed her, ignoring how heart her started pounding yet again.

Occasionally there is the sweet relief of a rainstorm, a monsoon that drops the mugginess to a minimum. On the rare nice days, when the sun decides to take a vacation behind the clouds, the Foxes do whatever they can to spend time outside.
It just so happened that the night before one of these golden days, Matt and the other Foxes found out that Neil never learned how to ride a bike. It made sense, they thought. Between the violent nature of his first ten years and the constant traveling once on the run, his parents wouldn’t have thought to teach him.

Or Neil dies in Baltimore but doesn’t quite leave. This a look into the complexity of Andrew’s trauma, grief, and psychosis that manifests itself as the undying ghost of Neil Josten. Reality and sanity are fragile concepts that Andrew isn’t too concerned about anymore; not if it means never letting Neil go, again and again and again. He made a promise, after all.
