“Unconventional?” I adjusted my glasses as I braced for whatever insane resolution she was about to propose. Sleep in a military jet? Move into a spare astrophage testing chamber?
“You will be staying with me.” She stated flatly.

Something echoed in Ilya’s mind. He took a moment to observe this boy more carefully: cute freckles, an evasive gaze, cheeks flushed from the cold, and an unusual effort to prolong such a casual conversation. In a way, it reminded him of how he himself had behaved during one of his first encounters with Sasha a few years ago. Shane Hollander, the golden boy of the team, couldn’t be… or could he?
He shook Shane’s hand again, but this time more consciously. He felt the warmth and softness of his fingers, something unusual for a hockey player. He felt that spark again, and maybe that was why he held his hand for a second longer than strictly necessary.
Shane left as quickly as he had arrived, murmuring a brief goodbye, leaving Ilya with a sense of curiosity. Maybe even someone as seemingly boring as Hollander could still have a surprise or two.

“You want me to touch you so bad?” Mike asked, his voice firm, vibrating in the small space between them. “After you let him put his mouth on you? After you let him drag you into a bathroom like you belonged to him?”
Mike leaned down, his face inches from Will’s, his breath smelling faintly of the liquor from earlier. “You think you can just come back here and have me crawl all over you? After I had to watch him mark you?” He looked down at Will, “Get on your knees. If you want me so badly, show me who you really belong to.”
