“Well, Hanta usually gets half the story right,” the man laughed, a deep sound that seemed to vibrate in the open air. “I’m Kirishima Eijirou. This is my place, but I spend most of my time out here or in the shed working on the repairs.”
Katsuki looked him over again, trying to reconcile the image of Hanta’s sophisticated city friends with this paint-stained man standing in the mud.
Kirishima didn’t seem to recognize him at all, or if he did, he didn’t care about the fame that usually made Katsuki’s life a living hell.

And this sure as hell isn’t going to play out like things did at your parents’ place. As I said; I’m done watching and hoping you’ll accept my help when I offer it. I could’ve lived with it if both of you were doing fine, but this—”
He looked at Eijiro with sadness, then back at Katsuki with a judgmental glare that made Katsuki’s face burn with a mix of shame and anger.
