A troupe-master bard is plucked up by the Nautiloid. She transitions from directing plays to directing an adventuring party and becomes immediate chaos-gremlin-besties with the rogue. This has a number of almost disastrous consequences and involves far more talking about feelings than any vampire should reasonably be expected to do.
A story about a bunch of traumatized people becoming better, because that can happen when you find yourself in a new place and suddenly have a support network.

Summary
After Caine returns and normalcy moves into the Amazing Digital Circus for the first time, the humans (and Artificial Intelligences) grapple with their feelings about those they lost. The friends and frenemies who couldn't cope with the strain of this digital world and fell into themselves, and the memories (and giant lovecraftian horrors) they left behind.
But as time passes and tender gestures are exchanged, what was thought to be only one-sided consolation for those who grieve slowly seeps into the inky abyss of the final abstraction. Somewhere in there, a little chicken fetus might one day be ready to break out of her shell.

Abstraction wasn’t unstoppable immediately. It didn’t break you all at once without notice, it grew and grew, from within until it reached the surface. Once in full effect it was irreversible, but like all things that grow, it could be cut short before it blooms.

Summary
Pomni— no, Penny— wakes up, disoriented in a hospital bed. As she grapples with being back in reality, she is relieved to find the other members of the Circus were taken to the same hospital. As they recover from the bizarre ordeal their bodies and minds went through, they are finally given the chance to get to know each other during their hospital stay. Or at least, this time, with their real names and faces.

Jax wakes up after a long, long time, a bit the worse for wear.
On the one hand, she experienced ego death, is tired and hurting all the time, and cries like a faucet now.
On the other, she's too exhausted to bother with her old bluster, has accepted that she wasn't subtle at all about her gender woes, and is genuinely galaxies happier than she used to be.
But even so...an old question begins to nag at her.

Summary
SO, the pitch: Our lovable cast is a Found Family. They are all stuck in the Circus permanently, they solved ep 9 stuff off screen, Jax has reached "I am grudgingly trying to stick with these people" mode but still has AN AMOUNT of work to do, and then they all voted and agreed to bring Caine back but without any of his powers. I may have been inspired by other non-kink fic, be cool about that.
Anyway, so Caine is brought back but obviously there's now the big elephant in the room of his uh, many crimes. Kinger has already spanked Caine once for his tantrums (see my previous fic) and it was successful, so the two agree to bring the suggestion to the whole group. This will eventually reach the space of a group kink situation with top/bottom dynamics and a bit of a hierarchy. Naturally Kinger is The Dad Who Stepped Up and the others will find their places as they go.

It all began with a question asked by Pomni: "Is it possible?" She and Kinger think that they may be able to revive the abstracted humans; they just need someone to run the code. Caine agrees to try, on one condition: they must obtain permission from the abstractions before tampering with their mind files. Now Pomni has to put her unique communication techniques to the test as the Circus members reach out to old friends, work through hidden traumas, and try not to get into even more trouble along the way...
