Lynette took Eloise from Lyney. Lyney reached over and took Marie from her hands. Lumine closed her eyes and rested while Lyney and his siblings conversed quietly above her.
“They are adorable, Lyney.” Lynette gave a soft purr.
“I know. Absolutely gorgeous little ladies.” Lyney had a touch of pride in his voice. “Do you want to hold Marie, Freminet?”
“No. No. I might drop her. Maybe when she is older.” Freminet’s voice was quiet. Lumine barely heard him.
“Eloise and Marie?” Lynette was still letting out that faint rumble.
“Yes. Allow me to give the introductions. Aunt Lynette, Uncle Freminet, meet your nieces. Eloise and Marie.” Lyney’s voice softened.
“Uncle Freminet?”
“Mmhmm and Aunt Lynette.”
“I think I will like being an Aunt.”
Their voices blended together as sleepiness took over her. Lumine fell asleep safe in the fact that Lyney and his siblings would watch over her daughters. Her? A mom? Aether would be sorry he missed this.

It's funny how seemingly small choices can shift your entire life. One stray move or turn and your world can shift drastically. If Ororon had decided to stay somewhere else that day, would he have even found her? Would he have been home in time to catch the iktomitsaur that came to get him? What if they had to wait until he came back, and he was too late?
Whatever the case, thinking about the what-ifs won't help anything. He was home when the iktomisaur came for him. He was the one who found her. He chose to keep her and love her, rather than letting her live a life similar to his own. She was here and she was his to care for.
His little Aurora. Or Rora for short. If he had the chance to go back, he wouldn't change a thing. Because everything led to this moment, making this choice. He would never regret this. Never regret her.

Knuckles smirked when Rouge pulled yet another blanket from a bag. At this point he will have to fill the spare bedroom closet with some of the blankets Rouge had bought, used for a week or so before discarding it in favor of another one.
Knuckles listened to the sounds of his home around him. Rouge’s steady chatter as she told about their day out and Fin’s happy barks and growls from where he played with his toys. Yeah. This was a home and he was so happy to not be alone anymore.

The implied threat that Peter would rip out his throat if he dared to harm a hair on his nephew's pack members heads.Enter one Chris Argent. He did not sign up for babysitting a pack of werewolves but here he was. Peter Hale owed him big time. Threats or not Chris would collect.
This was a nightmare.

He did know that Mephiles and him were a pair. If Shadow didn't want the hoglet it was better for him to walk away now.

There were three presences, for lack of a better word, that stood out to them in remarkable ways. Well, four technically but they so rarely saw the First that they didn’t really know them. No, there were three beings that they knew.
The Third saved them every time from scary dark purposes. They wanted to do something to thank them. They weren’t totally unaware of what was going on around them. But they wanted to understand how to help their beloved Third.
A few more observations brought them to the conclusion that their Third was not together with the Second. They couldn’t comprehend that fact. All signs pointed to their Third and the Second loving each other. They were sweeter and lighter together. Bubbly and fizzy and sparkly like the crackling warm energy between all seven of them.
They just don’t understand why their beloved Third and the Second were not always like that. Their Third saved them when they needed them. It made them sad to see their Third unhappy and alone. They didn’t like to see their Third like this. They needed to do something.

Black and white eyes with stars for pupils. His monster has taken an interest in her. It was improbable but there was always a slim possibility. His daughter had his abyss abilities. Childe sighed and squeezed Lumine’s hand. Parenting just became a whole lot more complicated.

Lumine stood on the beach. It was abandoned. The Kamisato Estate sat far above her on the cliffs. The winds raged and the water was fierce. Rain poured down in torrents.
Lumine took a deep breath. “Xiao!” She called loudly.
The wind kicked up a notch. She spotted teal and black energy as Xiao appeared on the wet sand a few paces away from her.
Lumine stared as Xiao swirled around looking for a fight. “Xiao.” She whispered.
Xiao’s sharp amber gaze fixed on hers. It widened before instantly dropping low on her torso. His polearm clattered to the beach in an unusual display of shock.
Lumine took a step closer. “Xiao?” She murmured.
The last yaksha shook his head. “I can’t… I don’t…” Xiao took a few steps back. “I’m sorry. It’s for your own good. Goodbye Traveler.” Xiao disappeared in a mix of anemo and black wisps.

“Stop!” Sonic shouted loudly. He scowled with his hands on his hips. He glared at every person in the house.
Everyone froze. Infinite was captured by Tails and tucked under his arm. Eggman was left on the floor with the human waving his hands furiously. Sonic waded through the mess and struggled to separate a growling Shadow from a furious Mephiles. He finally got Shadow away from his prey. He lifted Shadow into his arms. The black and red hedgehog was not happy. He wiggled around, kicking with his feet and scratching with his claws. He tried to bite Sonic with a snap of his teeth toward his blue fur covered arm.
“Shads. Stop.” Sonic tried for firm.
Shadow seemed to be listening because he stopped struggling. He hung limp in Sonic’s grasp, suddenly a hundred pounds heavier. It was like if he played dead, Sonic would drop him.
No dice. Sonic was stronger than Shadow thought. He simply swung the Ultimate Lifeform to his hip. He stared out at the sea of baby faces of bad guys he had fought. Plus Shadow.
Somehow Mephiles, Infinite, Dr. Eggman, and Shadow had been turned into babies and dropped on Sonic's doorstep.

That was a load of bantha poodoo. She was no Mandalorian. The meddling armored Jedi was wrong. What he wanted was a job for an actual Mandalorian.
If only she knew what Tarre Vizsla had up his armored vambraces.

As he said, it wasn’t even May and the urges were stronger than they ever were before. He was going to die. He was going to go feral and they would have to lock him up or euthanize him because he would not make it another year like this.
