Summary
Regulus was an obedient child, therefore the favourite, and therefore spoiled rotten. He grew into a spoiled, mean-spirited youth with a general distaste for all those around him, a mutual distaste. At last, even his parents disliked his rotten nature and wished to marry him off, so they might be rid of him.
Regulus treats insulting his suitors like a sport – a sport he is quite adept at, and so every prince and princess who comes to see and court him, turns away. All but one - a handsome young man with spikey, wild hair like the prongs of a rake. But as Regulus insults him and dubs him "King Prongs", the King has had enough and proclaims that Regulus shall marry the next beggar man to knock on the Castle Doors.This Fairy Tale was my favourite growing up.
