“We don’t want fans panicking every time you’re at each other’s throats,” Harris continued, “because they don’t realize that’s actually how you two show affection. We already lived through that misunderstanding once.”
He walked over to the camera. “So we thought it might be fun to do a quick little video. I’ll ask some easy questions, you guys respond however you like. It should be playful and light but it’s fine if you guys can’t help teasing each other a little. Be yourselves. Everyone already knows about you as individuals but what people haven’t seen yet is how you are as a couple.”
Shane scrunched his nose in distaste.
“We can keep it to on-ice questions,” Harris offered quickly.
“That’s fine,” Ilya said.
Harris took a seat behind the camera and checked the framing one more time. “Alright. Ready?”

“Uh, yeah. We just met. Wait, did he lie to me?” Shane asks, looking back over his shoulder where Ilya is now standing next to a short but very muscular woman with long black hair. “What does he play?”
Hayden stops, so Shane does too.
“You don’t know who that was?”
Shane makes a face that says ‘no shit’, and waits for an answer.
“Dude. You are so innocent. Ilya Rozanov, ‘Russia’s Greatest Love Machine’?” Hayden says, like it’s obvious.
Shane looks at him blankly, and then Hayden laughs. Not like, a chuckle. He full on cackles, bending over like he can’t even contain it. “Man, he’s like prolific.”
“At what?” Shane snaps, because he’s getting really sick of not being in on the joke.
“He’s a porn star, man.”
“A-” Shane says, swallowing thickly. “What?”

Keith has been freshly crowned king after his adoptive father’s sudden and surprising death. Along with the title, power, and kingdom, he has also inherited the prior king’s concubines.
He honestly wants nothing to do with the said concubines. In full transparent truth, Keith is part disgusted that the old man picked younger and younger mistresses throughout the years, but also, he just felt disgusted with the idea of it all.
He believed that hoarding the already rare and dwindling omegas into a locked harem was inhumane. That it was abusive. All around predatory. Disgusting behavior that he would not continue during his reign.
Which meant shoving the remaining concubines back to their homes.
Except one concubine in particular did not want to leave. That was how Keith became stuck with Lance. And perhaps Keith allowed Lance to stay in some turned about way to atone for the late emperor’s sins. For it was the fault of his predecessor that Lance no longer had a place to call home.
What Keith didn’t expect was to almost be assassinated by the said omega, or to even fall in love with him.

He could feel the stickiness of the blood under his feet as he walked out of the alley. He was almost disgusted with himself. If only he hadn't caught the subtle glance the brunette-haired male cast his way.
"Finally. Looks like someone finally came to pick up the trash." Lucifer says, staring down at the browned haired male. He knew that the other was trying to ignore him.
If only that were possible.
