Summary
Tim got sent to the principal’s office anyway because apparently flipping someone over your shoulder is “excessive force” even if they started it and even if you used the minimum amount of spine rearrangement necessary.
So now he had a disciplinary warning, no lunch, and a quiz on derivatives.
By fourth period his brain felt like it had been replaced with warm oatmeal. He got one question wrong because he wrote the answer in Cyrillic out of sheer sleep deprivation. The teacher circled it in red and wrote “????” which felt deeply judgmental.
-Where Tim found out in a hard way that he's not always right.

Summary
Bruce Wayne used to be Batman, an android built by humanity to fight for them with the Justice League. He helped save the world. He won them the war.
That was 12 years ago.
Now he's retired. Limbless, hung in a warehouse to be LexMart's logistics supercomputer, and wishing his miserable existence would come to an end.
He's given up on hope until three boys break into the warehouse and decide to sell him for parts.

Jason ends up not hating that as much as he thought he would. Also, Bruce wears a costume to make his son happy.

Batman had saved Joker's life before. More than once. He'd probably help, even if he knew. Even if he arrested Jason afterward. Even if it was the last straw.
He dug in his pocket for the signal-blocking case with his free hand. They could track the comm when it was on, if they wanted to. He didn't like to take any chances when he wasn't fine with being found.
Funny, when now he was just hoping they'd care enough to try.

Taking a bracing breath, Jason raised his hand to knock on the front door. And hesitated. Why was he here? Well, he knew why, it’d been churning for weeks in his brain like it was a damn ice cream machine. But why—ah, to hell with it. He knocked loudly.
Shuffling bled through the door, a muffled “one moment!”, followed by more noise before Dick opened the door with a very polite, “Can I help you?” The chain was still latched and the acrobat was clutching a floor-length bathrobe around himself like he was a scandalized housewife.
Jason threw up lackluster jazz hands. “Surprise!"

In which Jason gives Bruce a perfectly normal, perfectly heartfelt Father’s Day gift. It gets mounted in the manor’s busiest hallway like a trophy. Naturally, everyone has questions.

Bruce feels his heart lurch in his chest. The ground seems very, very far away, “Dick."
“Bruce,” Dick replies easily, smiling something sad and faint, “Don't be scared. Falling is half the fun.”
(Bruce teaches Robin how to use a grapple, and Dick teaches Batman how to fly.)

“Can’t sleep?” Jason mumbled.
“Nope,” Dick eased the door closed, tossed his limp stuffed elephant to Jason like a football, and flopped onto the mattress. “Noticed you stopped your moaning and groaning a few hours ago, so I figured you were awake too.”
“You’d think a fancy house like this would have thicker walls.”
“Mini-NP?” Dick asked. “All rules apply.”
Jason wasn’t sure when this had started to become a ‘thing.’ Probably before he came home, but that was privileged information. Nightmare Piles were like Fight Club. Rule one: no one talked about it afterwards. The stuff they talked about… if they talked… was absolutely privileged. No sharing it with anyone else in the family. No using it against the sharer. Jason added that one.
Physical contact was a must. That was a Dick rule. Jason tended to think of it as mutually assured destruction. More realistically it was Dick reminding himself that all his siblings were, in fact, alive. But they kept it up, even if Dick wasn’t there.
Just me using my comfort characters as my own personal therapy avatars. No plot. Just conversations. A bit of fluff. Nonsense

Dick always told Jason he was like one big huggable teddy bear.
Jason didn’t know much about the teddy bear part, considering he shot out kneecaps on the daily, but he knew he was big. 6’3”, built like a goddamn fridge, all muscle and skill—he could probably crush skulls if he tried. He couldn’t figure out why Dick would see all this and think cuddly.
But Jason didn’t entirely mind. He only pretended to, because how could a Bat ever just say what they feel?
But he liked it. Liked how he could somehow make his siblings feel safe. Even if each and every one of them knew the sheer violence he was capable of, they always came right to his doorstep when they needed comfort. Even Cass—deadliest of them all, silent as the grave—had a way of curling into him like he was made of something soft.
So today, when his little birds started dropping into his kitchen one by one, all in need of warm food and hugs, he didn't turn them away. He could never.

Summary
There had been much study on the effects of the Lazarus Pits in the centuries they had been used. The fact that they led to diminishing returns and that eventually a body would give out even with frequent use was well known. The fact that exposure could lead to irrationality and extreme rage, particularly in the immediate aftermath was thoroughly documented. That some people had more or less extreme reactions than others surprised no one.
In fact, if you were to ask Ra's Al Ghul if all side effects of the Lazarus Pool were known (you shouldn't), and he were to answer you honestly (he wouldn't), he would say yes.
He was wrong.
The problem was the all the observers and most of the participants, were members of the League of Shadows. There are certain traits to be expected in such individuals. So no one had yet noticed the way the pit heightened paranoia. Because, after all, why wouldn't they be cautious and suspicious?
Or:
Jason Todd, not sure who to trust, trusts no one. It changes things.
