When Chris’ sister drags him to some crappy dive bar downtown, he hadn’t expected it to change his life, but he would have done anything for his little sister. He listened to Queen, to KISS, to Bowie and Sabbath and Iron Maden. He liked to blast it through the engine bay on Sunday’s when himself and the rest of FDRC’s S.T.A.R.S. Team were washing the rigs. He didnt listen to the pop-nonsense that was popular with every teenage girl for the last 5 years. But, if Claire wanted him to go with her to see some little synth-pop band, he’d humor her, because that was what he did. He’d suck it up, even if it was bad, because it was important to Claire.
He was wrong in the best way possible.

Wesker, excited by the prospect of a new plaything, gets more than he bargained for as he discovers staying apathetic is not as simple as he'd once thought. Wesker has to navigate a whole swath of emotions he's not used to feeling, all thanks to his hard-to-resist pointman.

Their house already set up; Neil Hargrove set it all up before they left California. They drove into town with two cars; a burgundy Cutlass, and a blue Camaro. Both filled with everything they needed.
Chief Hopper didn’t notice the Hargroves move in, didn’t notice their first days or even Billy’s first parties. He was busy with El and when he wasn’t taking care of her or at work, he was worrying about Will Byers; going with him the lab to get checked out, to make sure he really was okay.

Summary
Steve Harrington spends his summer working at the new Starcourt mall and going to the public pool. It is the first time he is forced to confront Billy Hargrove again after the night of the Snow Ball, where he was looking for a fight but their encounter turned out unexpected and confusing. Steve only gets more confused after an accident at the pool and whatever is up with Billy and the sudden thoughts and desires he triggers in him every time they meet until he finally decides to try and find out. He also finds out there's something wrong with Billy.

Nobody can be sure at the moment, but all Curly knew was that he'd be going solo for this mission (the bare minimum, just how Pony Express liked it). No doubt, he'd be left with a lot of work during the voyage, but, somehow, three faces (one especially) were going to make the trip worth trudging through.

Sometimes Dean wishes that Angels were like how they’re described in the Bible. How people from time too old for him to care much about thought Angels were messengers and warriors of God, protectors of Humans. He knows that how they’re really described in the Bible is actually pretty terrifying, but at least they were told by God that they’re supposed to love Humans, right?
That’s a thousand times better than what Angels really turned out to be.
