Already hated by a smear campaign, Harry finds himself vulnerable in the den of snakes because of course he's the only one of two who gets resorted. Alone in Slytherin, Harry will need to learn how to navigate his new House and along the way discover true friends, a forgotten family, and a truth that will change the world as he knows it. That is if he and Draco Malfoy can spend ten minutes together without arguing.

He settles in Forks, a quiet town that should give him the dull life he desires, though a Nicotine fuelled, long haired, leather wearing teen with a couldn’t care less attitude was bound to stick out a little.
What Harry didn’t expect was a coven of 7 bunny sucking vampires, a pack of wolf shifters and an annoying little muggle who couldn’t keep her big nose out of other peoples business. To make matters worse one of the Bunny munchers is under the impression that Harry is their destined soulmate and keeps trying to talk to him (Merlin forbid).

Harry felt something touch both sides of his head, gripping it tight enough to be uncomfortable, but not so tight as to hurt — or perhaps he was so used to pain that it didn't register. This time, he did try to scream, but the sound came out muffled, eaten by the darkness as soon as it emerged. The thing around his head grew warmer. When it was hot enough that he thought it would leave his skin red and raw, the first images started flashing in his mind.
They appeared faster and faster, one image after another, flickering in front of his eyes. When the last of the images faded from sight, the darkness was back to being just that — dark. The feeling of not being alone was gone, as was the heat around his head. All Harry was left with were the memories of a life he hadn't yet lived, and the sneaking suspicion that things would never be the same.

I never thought I'd love a fanfic in which Percy Weasley, of all people, was in a relationship with Harry. This story did that for me.
(Won't ever judge a story by its pairings ever again. Or, at least, I'll give it more thought than I used to. Anyway.)
It's a fix-it fic at its core. Despite getting a bit more on the serious side every now and then - especially when dealing with trauma and its effects - it's a generally fluffy story. Well, maybe a more unconventional fluff between darker versions of the usual Harry and Percy, but it's cute still.
Who are we to deny the adorableness of a gifted Inferi cat? No one.
If I were to describe this fic in a few words it would be: it's a solid read. The basic concepts its made of might not seem entirely unique despite the unusual main pairing, but together they create a fairly humorous story that leans just enough on heavier topics, while presenting memorable versions of the characters which are seamlessly woven into a straightforward, yet never boring, plot.

As he turned to walk back to his mother a blur of red crashed in to him. It was Ron with Draco's wand in hand pointed at Harry. Next to him stood a smirking Hermione and before he could say a word, a flash of green hit him.
