Summary
The Argent Wolf Sanctuary. It’s been Stiles’ dream since he was five years old to work with the wolves, ever since his mother took him up there to see the magnificent creatures on one of their ‘full moon runs’ that the Sanctuary does once a month. The wolves are beautiful and much larger than Stiles would’ve thought, or at least, the newest wolf is. The owner had said he’s a special breed.
Stiles just didn’t realize quite how special he is.

Eddie knew it was his own damn fault, since he'd waved off the apologies when Buck recognized the barely-awake fogginess of his voice. He did want to talk to him, always would, but, well. There was no excuse for the way it slipped out of his mouth.
“I was dreaming about you.”
Buck giggled. “Were you?” he said teasingly. “Were we on a pirate ship? Or exploring a rainforest? Building a time machine?” And it was sweet, and silly, and at least Buck felt the warmth in his voice and didn’t assume Eddie meant a nightmare. Because, fuck. It was not a nightmare.

Buck flung his arm up and knocked the unfamiliar touch away as he pushed up into the mattress. His joints ached from the movement and Buck groaned as his head whirled into a throbbing pulse but he pushed all that aside and stared at the stranger sitting in his bed.
A stranger follows Buck home hours before his heat. His pack takes issues with that.
Once again using wolf metaphors for shameless found family vibes, protective Bobby Nash, and the softness of the 118 as pack.

Derek’s head was spinning. Survival classes. Spark. Firewatch tower. Jennifer. No werewolf powers. It was too much, all way too much for him to take in. He gritted his teeth, wishing his brain didn’t feel like it was coated in syrup, a heavy fog clouding his ability to process the past twelve hours. He hadn’t realized how much his body ached until he tried to get up, but he would be damned if he wasn’t going to fight tooth and claw to get them both out of there safely. Even if it meant Stiles never talked to him again after this.
