Summary
When Sonic is sold to the Doom Empire, he finally accepts the reality that he will never regain what he lost years ago. Driven by a promise made long ago and despite his own heartaches, Crown Prince Shadow wants to help those around him no matter the danger; including the battered little hedgehog sold into his father's care who saved his life. But his mysterious savior is not an easy one to crack nor does he seem to want the help of his master. Combine that with a stubborn father and a dying kingdom, and Shadow's fighting a war on two fronts.
