Aftermath of The Prank except Snape told Regulus to check out the Whomping Willow and he got turned into a werewolf. BUT it’s ok because eventually they become best friends (after a lot of resentment) and then when Walburga tries to kill Regulus he moves in with Remus :D

Summary
Sirius studied Remus’ face. He was curious what he thought of all of this, the only one of them who didn’t have a mark– theoretically– and the only one with a muggle parent. Muggles didn’t get marks, he knew. If Remus’ parents were soulmates, then they wouldn’t know it. He wondered if there was a way to tell, though. If they could just feel it, somehow, even without the help of some magical fate.
Because it seemed like something you would just know, just from being near someone, from being close enough to them, from being in the same space. Like their souls would attract like magnets or like water droplets traveling down a window, waiting to merge until the last moment when they realized they were on the same path, and then they’d become one.
Was that fate, Sirius wondered?
He realized Remus was staring back at him, his eyes puzzled and curious and warm.
Sirius looked away first and didn’t look back, pushing down something heavy and impossible in his chest.

Maybe, he thinks, and he knows it’s absurd and impossible, but he still thinks that maybe they sent him to Harry, and they sent Harry to him after all those years he spent alone. Perhaps to commemorate what they have lost together and cry and mourn and suffer.

Then Sirius is called in for a fire at a primary school, and while treating on one of the little kids he finds out the boy is that same nurse’s son.
Teddy asks Remus if they can go to the fire station to give Sirius a drawing as thanks, and it all falls into place from there.
