Of course MIRA couldn’t let anyone know what actually happened on that spaceship. It was the eggs that led to all of their deaths, it wasn’t any of their crew's fault, certainly not Purple’s.
Not even Red would be alive without Purple.

It's got red skin. And wide eyes. And it never speaks. It teleports. It looks like her, its body is the same. But the mind is not her. A killer mind. One who acts as a predator. Wanting to cause chaos and ruin people's lives, be it through fear like a nightmare, or irritation like a scab.
It's hurting them.
And nothing works.
So... maybe they should open the gates for her?
