Jack Marlowe is drowning. College is bled him dry, his tutoring gig isn’t cutting it, and he can’t admit to his family that he’s failing. So he lies.
He tells them he’s a prep specialist for Ridgewell Academy, the elite school his golden child sister attends. The lie gets him through judgmental looks—and lands him a job.
Now, he’s tutoring Sophia Kensington—petite, 8 years old, getting ready to graduate, eerily composed. Perfect posture, perfect manners, perfect hands folded in her lap. Watching him. An open book. Her parents will do anything to get her into that school.

The ending of season 5 caused me to want to write this at 12 am on a goddamn holiday.
This is my rewrite of what I think would be a better ending to Stranger Things. Including in depth character analysis, wrapping up loose ends and actual character death that is fulfilling to what the audience was expecting for the finale. I'm writing the season from the beginning to the end. In the beginning you will find a preface on what to expect.
