Nine years following the SandWing Succession beginning, Queen Battlewinner finds herself denying the possibility of a fake dragonet prophecy ever coming to be. So she resorts to other plans. This, however, leads to new problems arising.
New dragons take over, hundreds more die, and the NightWing tribe travels down a long path of destruction. With the dragonets never being taken and brought into the world as heroes, only villains remain.
