The TV went silent and the voices in the background stopped, and he could- He could hear footsteps coming his way!
Tommy could already see the shadow of the one who was approaching the passage leading from the living room to the corridor where Tommy now sat curled up in the ball, the boy pressed the button on his watch and-
The loop collapsed, bringing Tommy back.or, Tommy with his Time loop power accidentally finds out about his family being supervillains and decides to become a vigilante to better understand their motives and keep an eye on them.

Summary
Wilbur is lying face down on the floor. Again.
Tommy doesn’t know what’s up with him. He asked him once to which he chuckled with a smile so sad you could hardly call it a smile anymore, he said:
“Mom and Dad left my window open once, said my room smelled like something died in here. But then at night, the darkness came in and stole me away.”
The memory made Wilbur giggle again and that scared Tommy by far the most. His brother spoke of darkness and monsters as if they were his friends, his only friends, an unhelpful voice in the back of his mind supplied. Because if one does not leave their room how is anyone supposed to get close to them?
“But you are right here Will.” Tommy protested in vain, the words did not truly reach his brother. It felt like screaming on a sinking ship, because words can’t keep a heavy construction from sinking down into the deep darkness and they can’t keep the crew from drowning with it.

They stared at each other for a few long moments. A silent test of wills. Tommy was daring Wilbur to say the exact thing he didn’t want to hear. Wilbur was asking him to not play this game with him.
“You know why,” Wilbur finally said.
Stiffening, Tommy’s eyes fell back down to his plate. “It’s fucking stupid. Nothing’s even gone wrong without the stars so I don’t get why everyone’s making such a big fuss about it.”
“Yet. Nothing’s gone wrong without the stars, yet,” Wilbur pointed out. “We don’t know if things are gonna stay that way.”
“So what? You wanna pull me out of school and we board ourselves up in here to wait out the ‘apocalypse’ or whatever the hell people think is gonna happen?” Tommy challenged, his eyes flashing with anger.
or, the stars are disappearing from the sky. Tommy refuses to talk about it, and Wilbur can't help but feel like there's something more going on.

“I’m fine,” Tommy says, before Wilbur can ask his inevitable question. “I’m fine, Wil. Jus’ tired.” His words are more slurred than he would prefer, but every sound that falls from his mouth is carefully crafted in an attempt to sound normal.
Just a few more hours, Tommy reminds himself, a couple more hours and then Tubbo will be by his side, Ranboo here with his med-kit, Purpled cracking jokes at the three of them all while rubbing circles into Tommy’s back.
A few more hours.
Tommy coughs, and he doesn’t know if he can wait that long.
Or: TommyInnit is a vigilante, and he gets stabbed (as one does). He arrives home and attempts to hide his injury from his family.
Instead, he passes out, and the rest of sbi discover what he's really doing when he leaves the apartment at night.

He knew what his family did whenever they made excuses of overtime shifts and plans with friends.
From the videos online, their mechanisms were the same regardless of what costumes or masks they wore. He recognised their styles of speech and the insults they threw at heroes. Beyond the voice modifiers, Tommy could tell.
His family were villains.
But he didn't care. Because they were his family. Even if they didn't know he knew.

Under the bedsheets, Tommy groaned and turned over and away from the obnoxious blaring of his alarm clock.
However, ignoring the problem doesn't usually make said problem disappear, no matter how far you burrow into your blankets.
Tommy groaned again and swung out, tiredly smacking at the offending object until it fell silent. He sat up, knowing that attempting to go back to sleep would have fruitless results.
"Thomas? Are you up?" His foster mother's voice called through his door.
Tommy blinked, confused. Why did this feel so...familiar?

Each step felt like he was locking himself further and further into his decision until he was just a few steps away. Already he could feel the humming reaching up from the ground and becoming a part of him, just like his dream had foretold.
One step, two.
It almost didn’t feel real, but he knew it was in the way his heart was beating frantically in his chest – the way his toes were pinched in his shoes and how the tag of his hoodie itched his neck.
He stepped forward. Silence.
He woke up.
Tommy just wants to stay dead; the universe and his family object.
