“Y-yes,” Alastor gasps, bucking into Vox’s touch. “He is.”
“It was thrilling, wasn’t it? To see someone finally put him in his place. Completely decimate him in front of all those people; people who were once his.”
“I—I’ve been wanting to do that.”
“I’m sure.” Vox unbuttons Alastor’s slacks, slow and unhurried like he isn’t seconds away from snapping and just ripping all his clothes off. “But it was me who did it. I humiliated the King of Hell. Not you.”
After the rally, Vox finds Alastor hot and bothered in his chair from watching him expertly manipulate the crowd. It's truly his winning day.

Summary
In 1933 Alastor manages to summon a demon with a rectangular, glowing head who keeps staring at him like he can't decide between tearing him apart and worshipping him at his feet.
Meanwhile, Vox just blew up himself and the entire universe and suddenly stands before a second chance. He simply has no idea what that second chance entails.

It's a few days before the second Extermination and Alastor's feeling ready.
A little weird, but ready,
A little warm, but, you know, ready.
Until he discovers that his heat is coming two weeks early, which really puts a wrench in his plans. But, no, everything is fine. Really, it's FINE. All he needs to do is make it through one fight and he's free to handle this stupid, pesky heat. No problem. Adam shouldn't be too hard to handle, he's only one guy.
Everything's going to work out, Alastor's sure of it.

Velvette rolled her eyes, but with a wave of her hand and a flash of purple magic, a contract was put in front of him. All the inhabitants of the hotel, thoughtless of his personal space, crowded around to read over his shoulder.
He felt his eye twitch as he quoted aloud, “Must act with sexual enthusiasm for a total of seventy-two hours, all of which will be filmed unhindered by magical interference, and, as the VeeTech sees fit, may be distributed as pornographic materials. I assume that this is the moth’s disgusting work?”
She raised an eyebrow. “Both of them, actually. I believe Vox wants to immortalize this moment. He seems to think you’ll say no anyway. I think what we are offering is more than fair, especially to get back Angel Dust.”

Alastor goes to the living world to feast on humans because they taste better than sinners. Coincidentally, he stumbles upon Vincent during his first murder. He decides to befriend Vincent because it’s entertaining to watch a serial killer in the making! Plus Vincent wasn’t necessarily bad looking. Vincent gets a big fat gay crush on this evil mysterious man that appeared out of no where, that he suspects might not be human. Alastor pretends to be human, but couldn’t be worse at it.

Summary
In an instant, all the lights and electronics within the lounge shut off, bathing the room in absolute darkness. Alastor’s crimson dials were initially the only sources of light that could be seen, up until his chin was forcefully grabbed and his gaze was wrenched up and bathed in the bright, electric blue glow of Vox’s screen.
“Sorry, Alastor,” Vox chuckled, his layered voice becoming the only thing Alastor could hear other than the sounds of his own rapid breathing and pounding heart. “Your operating system’s obsolete.”
Alastor caught sight of that large, twisting red eye, and like that, he was trapped.
No matter how much his body struggled, his gaze was longer able to break away from that swirling crimson pit. “Vox—!”
“So!” The clawed hand moved around Alastor’s throat to shut him up before he could finish his plea. Vox’s grin was manic. “We’re gonna get inside that head of yours and make a few changes!”

Charlie had planted herself in front of Vox and was rambling off an impressive myriad of excuses, from busted pipes to bad Wi-Fi, while he stared at her, hands on his hips, with the utmost expression of forced patience. His black, digital brows were set in a line as straight as the glower at the bottom of his screen. He does a single, slow blink, finger tapping against his hip as he debates on how much money he can reasonably make on a Charlie Morningstar-inspired white-noise machine (and whether the guaranteed customer complaints will be worth the cheap buck) when a movement over her shoulder draws his eyes.
He leans to the side, eyebrow quirking. "What's that?" Then promptly chokes on a surprised noise and shoves Charlie aside. "Holy shit, is that a human?"
Lucifer plays a prank on Alastor.
Everyone else has to deal with the consequences.

Papers were everywhere, crumpled or shredded; almost all the books had fallen off their shelves or were left in piles with their pages torn out; samples of dead creatures were strewn all across the floor; and worst of all, the large array that hung on a canvas above his master’s desk was cut and burned beyond recognition.
Something was wrong.
But before he could process that, his master suddenly grabbed him by the shoulders, holding him in place.
“Boy, I need you to listen to me. Very soon, a pair of men are going to arrive at the house. Those men are going to be here to arrest me. I need you to take the girl and leave before they get here. Do you understand what I’m asking you to do?”
