"Catra." She says firmly, eyes flying up to the other woman’s face. "I wouldn't choose anyone in the world to be stuck with after an alien invasion other than you. If the world were normal, I'd still wish for us to meet. No matter the circumstances ... I want this."
Adora doesn't move her hand, but she keeps her touch light enough that Catra can pull away if she wants to. "If you don't feel the same, it'll be alright. But I need you to know." Adora will put on a brave face, even if the thought of not having Catra makes her want to die.
Catra's holding her, one arm wrapped tightly around her waist. "I—fuck." She curses, her voice charged. "Adora, you're my miracle. I can't believe that I found you against all odds. And if I had the chance to save the whole world from these stupid worm aliens but I'd have to give you up—" She sighs. "I wouldn't do it."
Adora's heart thunders in her chest at the declaration. "That's wrong." She points out, but she's smiling as she does it.
Catra smiles back, eyes warm. "Super fucked up, but no less true."
OR
Glimmer, an alien, is implanted in Adora's body. They find their way back to Adora's family. The Host AU.

Summary
"So, what did you say your name was again?" Adora asks as she drops soft kisses down the woman's back.
She smiles as she nuzzles into the pillow, stretching under Adora’s careful touch. "I didn't say." She murmurs back.
"Mind sharing with the class now?" She prompts. She got so swept up in their chemistry and the absolutely devastating way this woman had about the sheets, that she forgot to ask. For a while when she laid claim to Adora’s thighs, she barely remembered her own name.
"Catra." She sighs as Adora lingers between her shoulder blades. Adora freezes her lips inches from Catra’s skin, still feeling the heat there. She pulls back, feeling the blood rushing from her face.
She's so screwed.
Fuck fuck fuck. She'd just fucked Glimmer's ex. Fuck.
OR
When Catra moves back to Elberon, Glimmer tells Adora to stay far away from her ex. How hard could that possibly be? "Dating Your Best Friend's Ex" AU.

A new message pops up along with what might be the sexiest photo Adora’s ever seen.
It’s stupid, right?
Adora stares at the words for a minute, trying to make sense of them.
You should keep it. It’s not stupid at all.
The response is instantaneous.
I should have bought it in red.
Adora shakes her head even though Catra can’t see her. She ends up pushing the call button on her phone without really thinking about it.
“The pink looks gorgeous on you. Really. I’m not just saying that.”
“You don’t have to—”
“I know.” Every bone in her body wishes she could show Catra just what she thinks about the lingerie set. How she feels about her. “You look so soft.” She whispers.
She hears Catra let out a soft exhale before shakily breathing in. “Did you think about touching me?”
Adora doesn’t expect the direct question or the deep and vulnerable way Catra says it. She’s used to denying this part of herself, but Catra almost sounds hopeful and Adora can’t say anything other than the truth.
“And more than that.”

Catra groans and turns around–finally– before opening her eyes. “This better be fucking good because—” her eyes fly to Adora’s neck. “Did you get mauled by a bear or something?”
“Yeah. A bear named Catra, apparently.” She takes a deep breath. “The hickeys aren’t important.” Adora can’t even begin to think about them. She can’t wrap her brain around any of it, least of all that. “Did we get married?” She holds up her hand and wiggles her fingers.
Catra stares at Adora, her eyes rapidly flickering between her hand and her face. “No way. We aren’t that stupid.” She shakes her head but then she looks down at her hand. At her own matching ring. Fuck. She looks up at Adora. “We aren’t that stupid, right?” Her voice is teetering on desperation, hoping for answers that Adora is simply unequipped to deliver.

Catra and Adora are best friends since high school who accidentally marry each other. Accidentally Married AU.

Summary

Most recent chapter: Sequel to Belling the Cat
She pushes Catra back, holding her up against the back wall. It doesn’t escape Catra’s notice that even though she slams Catra back into the wall, she’s almost cradling her too, Adora’s arm making first impact with the roughened plaster.
It’s one of those barely there signs, the ones that keep Catra up at night wondering if she’s making all of this up in her head or if there’s really something between them. She’d never tell Adora outright how much she thinks about it—how much she feels in her bones that despite all the reasons why they could never be together, it’s all she ever dreams about.
Adora’s skin is red, blood blooming a gorgeous blush across her face and down her neck. She’s heaving, her eyes trailing over Catra with less anger than she expected given her forcefulness. “You’re just so fucking difficult.” She bites out before she slams her lips to Catra’s in a bruising kiss, all teeth and desire as she pulls her hand up under Catra’s chin.

Catra had planned for every contingency in her invasion of Bright Moon. Short of every princess defying expectation and logic to abandon their lands and defend Bright Moon, she was sure to be victorious.
Even so, nothing could have prepared her for a time-traveling child from the future to suddenly appear in the middle of the battlefield.

When they were 16, she revealed that she had been training them to fight each other, as she only required one successor. A magical fight to the death, taking place on the Winter Solstice. Although Shadow Weaver is long gone, the curse she placed on them mandates that they duel each year until the oath they swore has been fulfilled. This is the fifth such year.
