Summary
With a loud pop, the light disappeared and Atsushi rushed forth screaming “Dazai-san!”
He didn’t expect to meet one cold amber eye, almost red in the light, and the barrel of a gun pointed at his forehead.
The man, no boy. He couldn’t be older than Atsushi himself stared back at him. The familiar bandages wove around his eye obscuring more of the boy’s body than Atsushi was used to. A grin was placed on his lips, and Atsushi noticed how similar he was dressed to a certain man with an unfortunate haircut. An all-black suit with a clearly oversized jacket hung off the boy's slim frame.
“Well, well, who do we have here? Tora? How cute,” the boy sang.

Summary
Dazai pushed his nose into Chuuya’s neck, the scent of him so thick, so twisted with anxiety that his body longed to soothe it. This body of his that never worked when he wanted it to, never really felt like his own, even now, failed him.
Even as it shivered in the cold, he felt Chuuya underneath him.
So warm, he thought, his lips moving against Chuuya’s ear, as he finally faded to nothingness.

Shit. He shouldn't have said that.
No matter how angry he was, his husband did not deserve to have been stabbed in the most vulnerable part of his heart. This was a secret that he entrusted Chuuya to keep and take care of until the day he dies. And what he did? He spat it right back at him, and used it like a sharp dart aimed right at the bull’s-eye.

Summary
“Dazai?” Chuuya’s voice cut through the din, sharp and filled with irritation. “What are you doing here?”
The room fell silent, all eyes turning to Dazai. The warmth in the room seemed to vanish, replaced by a palpable tension. The members exchanged uneasy glances, their fear evident. They weren’t just wary of Dazai because of his position—they were afraid because of who he was: the Demon Prodigy, the son of their former boss.
Dazai gave a lazy grin, trying to hide the unease bubbling inside him. “I thought I’d join the festivities. It’s not every day you see the Port Mafia in such high spirits.”

“If you weren’t you, we’d be on the ceiling right now,” Chuuya feels inclined to inform him. He reaches up a hand to trace Dazai’s jawline on the right side, the side that’s now free to feel the light.
“If I weren’t me, you would have leveled half a city block by now.”
“Killjoy.” He hooks his fingers into Dazai’s mouth, instantly pleased when the other man starts sucking on them, laving each knife and trigger callus with the tip of his tongue.
