Uta stares at him. Just stares and stares – even as Hongo, Benn, and the others arrive. Hongo takes one look at Luffy and shakes his head. As Benn swears, Shanks buries his head into Luffy’s hair.
There’s blood, Luffy’s blood, on her hands. It’s still warm and drying. Flakes uncomfortably sticking to her skin, and buried deep under her fingernails. She killed Luffy.
“Uta.” Shanks is looking up at her (a monster who looks so much like a man. A monster who’s slaughtered thousands yet cries over one boy. Why hasn’t he killed her yet? Monster. Monster. Monster. Man. Father.) with tears in his eyes. “What happened?”

“Where are your parents?”
“I don’t know where dad is, you’re acting so weird!” The last word was spat out like a curse, his little frame tensing in frustration. That exclamation seems to bring him to a boiling point, and suddenly his whole body slumps in defeat, all his previous zeal washing away like footprints to the tide.
“I saw Ace,” the boy admits in an uncertain little voice, like he shouldn’t even be saying that. There’s a strange weight to the words, as if he expects it to mean something to him as well. Those big eyes grow distant and misty, his bottom lip trembles. He looks like he’s about to cry. “…it was probably just a dream,” chewing his lip, his eyes slide to the floor to stare at his fallen sandal forlornly. He doesn’t seem to fully believe what he said, but continues to mutter anyway as if trying to convince himself. “I dream about him a lot, and Chopper says you can see things that aren’t real when your brain is being mean.. ha- haloo bin nations..?”
“Hallucinations,” Smoker corrects automatically, an uncomfortable twist wrenching in his gut.
That mop of black hair bobs once in a nod. “Yeah, that’s what I said.” It isn’t, but he doesn’t feel like arguing with a teary eyed kid.

For a while, this is as close as they get to any sort of argument: Zoro growling at him like a rabid dog, deadlocked into a staring contest that Mihawk, for the first time, might actually lose.
Perona finally breaks the silence. "Urgh! I've had it with you--emotionally constipated sword freaks!" she fumes with a petulant stomp of her cherry boots. "Fine! If you two won’t talk about it, then I’ll do it for you!" She extends her hands. "Negative Hollow!"
Twin translucent specters erupt from her palms. Mihawk effortlessly swats away the pest -- but Zoro, only halfway to his mastery of haki and ambushed from his freshly-carved blind spot, is not quite so fortunate.
Zoro crumples to his hands and knees. “I don't deserve to have you as my father.”
Perona gasps. Zoro petrifies, and Mihawk thinks, distantly, that this is what it would feel like to take a sword to the chest.
“As your what?”

It all started with Zoro being annoyed by Sanji stopping in every fight to correct his opponent that no he is not a Vinsmoke and ended up with the whole world calling him Roronoa Sanji. Somehow, he is the happiest about it. At least until he can be known for discovering the All Blue as opposed to being the Mosshead's husband of course.

Part 2 is about Series ENA and does not tie into the greater overarching narrative, but shares the same themes as Part 1.
Most of these fics can be read standalone, but will have greater impact if read as a series in order as they do reference each other. Part 7 in particular relies heavily on the context of previous fics in the series.

This fic will take ENA to a certain other universe where woodcutting tools see a grievously incorrect application and religion has a frankly disconcerting presence, where she must navigate a world so illogically logical it makes her head spin as she tries to make it back home.
This is my first ever published fic, so excuse me for any wacky mistakes I make out of inexperience. It should also be mentioned that my writing of ENA might be weird, wacky, and perchance a tad wungalogogic, but. . .
