“I see you there, you know,” the alpha calls out to Aerion. “Are you the stable boy?”
Aerion’s eye twitches at the mere thought of him being a stable boy. This man, honestly, what a brute to assume such a thing.
He wants nothing more than to bite the alpha’s head off, but instead, he just settles for biting his lip to keep his anger at bay. He cannot draw attention to himself.
“No,” Aerion snaps at the brute, readjusting the hood of his cloak to make sure it stays on and conceals his hair. “Leave.”
He cannot let anyone see it, lest he wants to be returned to his father.
“Nothing to be ashamed of if you are,” the alpha tries to placate him. “It’s a decent job to have.”
Then, to Aerion’s horror and annoyance, the alpha tosses him a coin, one that proceeds to land by Aerion’s feet.
aerion runs away to escape an arranged marriage and ends up meeting a brute of an alpha at a stable, out of all places.

Duncan has no response beside more blushing and stuttering. Which it seems is response enough.
Ser Lyonel leans forward again, catching Dunk’s gaze from where he’d lowered it— a wild and delighted smile slowly dawning across his face. Dunk feels his blush reach his ears. I’ve been kissed before, he means to protest, but it sounds childish even in his mind.

Just a self indulgence fic where Luke Castellan survived and Mercury abducts him from the Underworld. Might follow slightly on the plot of Heroes of Olympus because I love Jason Grace and Jason Grace Lives.
Thinking also of the Helen plot slightly as the Heroes of Olympus sub plot afterwards with a chaotic crash out of Hermes and Mercury fighting over Luke.
Idk about the pairing yet but I'm leaning towards Hermes x Luke , Mercury x Luke. Thinking also of Luke x Jason x Reyna 🙈. Anyway think of this as a crack fic disguised dark and chaotic fic with no care for the actual and accurate plot since it's been AGES SINCE I'VE FINISHED THE BOOKS 🙈
Also the demigods will be characterised as the one in the show since I love the casting there 🫶. And as always updates are fickle 🙈.

Unfortunately, she doesn't remember much from that book series she read as a kid. Which is kind of a problem when her son is Luke Castellan. She's pretty sure that he's a major player in the series, but all she knows about him is that he was possessed by Kronos and sacrificed his life to stop him.
So when she sees a god standing over him, of course she does the sensible thing and runs as far away as possible.

Instead, he opened them to a sunset sky—not the Underworld at all.

Instead of waking up on the underworld after dying. Luke wakes up on Ancient Greece. In a world so different from his own. The gods in this world are not able to freely have children for Kronos had cursed them.

In one universe, the Gods were blessed with children and never had to go without, using them as cannon fodder or simply taking their very presence for granted.
In the other, the gods don't have such a blessing. Instead, having been cursed by Kronos for all their children to die before they can get to know them, before they can breathe- only a few surviving long enough to ascend to godhood. These Gods don't take their few surviving children for granted or send them on dangerous, life threatening quests. Surely they won't mind a few more?
