The man lifted his face to meet Zuko’s, his gaze wide, and that dread in Zuko’s stomach returned, curling tighter than ever before. The prisoner pushed himself slightly upwards, and let out a short, breathless gasp, “Zuko?”
Zuko froze, eyes bolted onto the man in front of him. The recognition made him sick, made bile rise in the back of his throat as he clawed for an explanation, anything at all that that wasn’t what his mind was landing on. His body screamed for danger, telling him to run now and never turn back, to forget any of this happened.
“How do you know my name?” he pleaded, voice choked as he pulled his hand back. He shook his head, he didn’t want to hear—
“It’s—” A cough, and Zuko could gag.
“It’s me, Zuko.”
Lu Ten didn’t die at the Siege of Ba Sing Se, and was instead captured and held prisoner by the Dai Li.

Shocked by how foolish his enemy is Zuko takes the opportunity to find out more about the Avatar and accidently becomes one of the GAANG in the process. Why does the Avatar keep looking at him like that and what's the strange voice he keeps hearing? Zuko really should listen to his Uncle more often.

Finding and taking out the new fleshbag Trollhunter should be quite an easy task, if not nearly shameful in how easy it should be. Still, he looked forwards to meeting the man who seemed to make Stricklander falter, before tearing off his head and bringing the amulet to the bridge.
Then, the moment came, and he found himself face to face with a sassy far-too-skinny bag of bones that's first instinct was to nearly throw the amulet at him.
