Narumi looks at him for a moment longer, squinting his eyes.
“I can’t work you out,” he admits with amusement but there is also a deeper tone in his voice. As if he enjoys that part, as if a little puzzle is exactly what he wants. “Are you really a good boy or is that all just an act? You can drop it then, there are no superiors of yours here, and I couldn’t care less. So maybe you will skip the training bullshit and come to my office?”Leno's world changes one night when he loses his family in a Kaiju attack - everything that happens later seems to be a consequence of that moment. He struggles with survivor guilt and loneliness, learning that he has to deal with everything alone. It slowly starts to change when he joins JAKDF and then, after defeating Kaiju no 9 - he meets Captain Narumi of the First Division. And although it seems they are as different as possible, they slowly learn that they have much more in common than anyone could imagine. Will they fall in love and manage to help each other heal?

“Yeah, a bit, I mean, I’m not from here,” he says lamely and the boy snorts with a little shake of his head.In which, in some sort of timeline mess, Ichikawa meets a 10 years old Narumi, and Narumi has a chance to spend time with 5 years old Ichikawa. It is more emotional than they expect.

Seonghwa sends him an artificial frown of confusion, gaze whirring down at him as he gently places the back of his hand against his own forehead.
"I'm only running a few degrees above room temperature," the android claims. "How can I be considered hot?"

Park Seonghwa hates everything Kim Hongjoong stands for. He hates his garish clothes. He hates that smug smile on his face every time they see each other at the drop-off/pick-up line. And he especially hates how his daughter won't stop singing his praises like he's God's gift to Earth. It's always "Mr. Kim said he really likes glitter and bright colors are the best" as he pours syrup over the pancakes he painstakingly made into cute little bear heads that she didn't blink twice at and, "Mr. Kim said that if we practice we can paint flowers as pretty as he can" while Seonghwa wrestles her hair into the cutest pigtails known to mankind that are pretty even if you tilt your head a little to the left. Look Seonghwa's trying and Mr. Kim is really messing up the whole Daddy's little girl thing.
Bottom line is that Seonghwa is stressed, the elementary school art teacher can kiss his ass, and having his first heat in who knows how long is not helping.

He has neither wanted nor needed anything besides his duty, the safety of his children, and some good books to read. Through small encounters the Warrior of Light burrows her way into his mind and he finds that she is much more fascinating than the murderhobo barbarian he had imagined her to be. Regardless of his burgeoning curiosity, he has to keep her at arm's length because of her meddlesome Scion friends - not to mention her dragon BFF whose disdain for Fourchenault knows no bounds.

"I've never been more glad to have someone become a hero instead of a villain..." Nedzu grinned in glee, "He's exceeded my expectations." He zoomed in on the figure standing in front of the building - if you can even call it that.
